Dr. Mujib Shuayb D.M.D. is a founder of the Shuayb Dental Institute which opened its doors in 2005. He is a Florida native. His parents are both physicians and his father was one of the first physicians in Hernando County.
Dr. Shuayb graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in science. He would later move to Boston to obtain his Dental degree at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he moved to Pittsburgh and obtained a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Along with his brother Omar, he owns and operates 4 practices in Hernando, Citrus and Pasco Counties.He is an avid Patriots and Bucs fan and has a few hobbies himself such as basketball, boating, fishing, and traveling

Dr. Omar Shuayb is a talented and personable dentist who just completed major restorative work on my teeth. I had numerous issues with old crowns, cavities and infections under two teeth that he fixed in one day! I walked away without these issues and now am on the mend. I will get my permanent crowns and bridges in 6 weeks and expect excellent results. Thank you Dr.O! Additionally, his dental assistant Kim is a calming and skilled professional who made my long visit bearable. Many thanks to you Kim! Pam at the front desk handled my payments with complete accuracy and politeness. Pam is always cheerful and professional. Thank you!

I got there 1 hr early and the nurse took me right back the dr was great a wonderful and clean place but iam sorry I can't get my teeth done there it was to expensive I would have loved to do it there the staff was wonderful I felt verry comfortable even with dr

The Shuayb team of caring dental personal were truly great on my visit yesterday. It was a new emergency visit for a painful molar that was driving me crazy. In less than an hour ,tooth gone pain free, and on my way home. Great service from great people

First they quoted me $8500, then sent request to insurance for $4611, then the office manager said someone only submitted part of the plan (???). Then she sent me a new price of more than$13,000! I can't think of a reason to trust them. Oh, and they charge $400 for a cleaning! I think not!

Absolutely terrible customer service from the office manager. After refusing to assist with a refund of an overpayment due to the incorrect processing of my dental claim, I was told very rudely to find a different dentist before being hung up on. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
