Dr. Sjogren (pronounced 'show-grin') is a Wichita, KS native. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Nebraska College of Dentistry he began practicing dentistry in Wichita before moving to Olathe and opening Show Your Grin Dental. Dr. Sjogren has more than 20 years of experience in general, cosmetic, and family practice dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and fire pitting with his family and friends!
Deann has been a part of our team since 2010! Her first 10 years were spent caring for our patients as their dental hygienist! In 2020 she transitioned to the front office to expand her skills! Not all hygienists can make that switch but Deann has proven to be an absolute ROCKSTAR! Deann and her family love spending time outdoors and enjoying game nights!
Lindsey joined our team in 2015 and is an insurance guru! She will always know the ends and outs of each individual insurance plan so our patients never have a financial surprise! In her free time she loves hanging with her family and playing golf!
As Dr. Sjogrens lead assistant, Heather has been working for Show Your Grin Dental since 2018! She is always two steps ahead of Dr. Sjogren to make sure your dental treatment goes as smoothly as possible. Heather enjoys working out and being the best mom to her daughters!
Lacey is one of our amazing hygienist! She has been making us laugh since 2017! Educating her patients is one of her many talents! She is a mother of three and constantly on the go keeping up with her awesome kids!
Staci joined Dr. Sjogren as his wife in 2018 and our office in 2020! After her career as a nurse, we couldnt be happier to have her as our office mom/office nurse! She loves to color while sitting by the fire pit and can make a mean peach cobbler.

Digital X-rays, or radiographs, are also used in our office to provide us with invaluable information about your oral and dental health. By placing a wireless sensor in your mouth and using high-tech computer software, we are able to generate digital images of your mouth significantly faster than traditional X-rays. Not only are they friendly to the environment, they are much safer than traditional X-rays, reducing your radiation exposure by 90 percent!
The standard X-ray is essential in determining any dental problems you may have, but unfortunately, it may not reveal everything happening inside your mouth. We are proud to use an intraoral camera in our office.
An intraoral camera can project an image of your tooth onto a monitor, so you can see the problem in a magnified version and how we can correct the issue. It can also identify problems that may not be detected by the general means of examination, including cracks in your fillings or fractured teeth. Similar to the size and design of a dental mirror, an intraoral camera allows you to make better decisions regarding your treatment as you can see the same things we see.

I went to Show Your Grin Dental after being referred by a co-worker. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and listened to my concerns. They don't rush to get you in & out (which is how it should be). Dr. Sjogren was very friendly and informative. The office was exceptionally clean and decorated beautifully. I am excited to have found my new dental office.

Service is a lost art in this day and age - it was refreshing to be greeted in a positive upbeat manner (and not just once but EVERYTIME I am there) - friendly, engaging, professional, and dental work is exceptional. They take the time to answer questions and their follow up & follow through is terrific as well. I can't be more pleased with the people in the company and the service I have received. Been going here since I was a child. Highly recommend. Super friendly staff. High quality work. Hadn't gone to the dentist in a couple years and Haley R made it the best painless, anxiety-free experience. Haley is by far the best hygienist I have ever had. She is very thorough and efficient. Quick cleaning with no unnecessary small talk (which I love)

Well, it's amazing for starters. The staff is incredible, the location is clean and very comfortable. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Everyone is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and they all make it obvious that they enjoy what they are doing for people there. I highly recommend this office.

This has to be the best dental office in Kansas City. I've been a patient 30 years. Today I had a cap come off my tooth and Kylee (dental technician/business manager) attended me. She is always so great ..very personable and real. She and Heather worked together and asked me questions. Kylee determined that when I grind my teeth I was putting intense and consistent pressure and stress on that one tooth. She was able to shape the point of contact so there is no stress when I try grind my teeth. She is a true professional and perfectionist and always cares about having a job done exactly right.
