Shirley is the Office Manager here at Show Me Dental. She has over 25 years experience in the dental field and is the heart of our dental office. She started in the dental field as a receptionist for an orthodontic office. She has also assisted chairside for both orthodontic and general dentistry. But for the last 12 years, Shirley has been serving as an Office Manager.Shirley has been married to her husband, Mark, for 37 beautiful years. They have a son who lives in California and a daughter that lives here in Farmington. They have 4 adorable grandsons, and 1 granddaughter, who's ages range from 3 to 14 years old. When Shirley has time away from the office, she enjoys going to the local wineries, spending time on the river, canoeing,boating, camping,and anything that has to do with her dogs.It is undeniable that Shirley loves her job, and it shows through her performance at Show Me Dental. We are very grateful to have Shirley on our team.
Lindsey, a Farmington resident, cites a lifetime interest in good oral hygiene as her inspiration to pursue an education and career in the dental field. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Midwest Institute in Fenton, MO in June of 2014. A people person at heart, she hopes to erase the dreaded 'fear of the dentist.' Linsdey joined the Show Me Dental team in October of 2015 as an assistant of Dr. Urling 's. She worked by his side for 4 years before she started working as a receptionist in 2020. She has an eclectic taste in music and loves going to see shows and concerts. She loves everything from country to classic rock, but her all time favorite is 80 's hair bands! She and her daughter Callie enjoy having mom/daughter movie nights and game nights with the family. She has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Lindsey has recently bought her first home in the heart of Farmington! We are so happy to have Lindsey as part of our team!
Tiffany grew up in the Bonne Terre/Desloge, MO area. She attended the dental assisting program at St. Louis Community College in Forest Park. In 2015 she graduated with a degree in dental assisting with expanded functions skills. She worked chairside assisting and placing fillings before joining the Show Me Dental team in 2019 as our front desk Dental Receptionist. Tiffany has recently gotten married to her husband Gabe, and laid down new roots in Doe Run, where they built their dream home in the country. In her spare time Tiffany enjoys going on side by side rides, soaking up the sun at the lake, and spending Saturday nights at the St. Francois County racetrack to cheer on her dad and others! Most of the time you can find her spoiling her young nieces and nephew or hanging out with friends! Tiffany has a very big heart and is always waiting to welcome our patients with a smile. We love having her as part of our team!

This place is a joke. I had an appointment I showed up for that they claimed I canceled. The cancelation was sent to them from a phone number that was not mine so it's my fault the appointment got canceled. So they tell me it will be next year before I can get back in as I already waited 6 months for the appointment they claim was canceled. After I questioned that loudly and was told that I may want to find a new dentist. No problem will do!!!!! I have been with this denistry since i was a little boy and this would have never stood under Crowley's watch!! You will be wasting your money using this place full of disappointment!!!

My husband had his tooth pulled here and said this is the best dentist he has ever been to for tooth extraction. Zero pain during the process; usually during a tooth extraction, you feel a little bit of pain due to pressure from the pulling, but my husband says he didn't even feel that. If you are looking for a good dentist to pull some teeth this is the place to go.

Changing my review.. So what I've learned is don't you dare cancel an appointment. They will punish you with a 6 month wait.. I refuse to believe there's no cancellations during that 6 months they could give people. That makes me wonder how much do they really care for their customers, maybe the condition of their teeth can't wait 6 months. That's how I see it. Also if you owe anything they will not pick up the phone and call you, or email you.. and how I have my home mail setup I don't always get my mail which is why I prefer every other thing I do billing online. This is the only place that I deal with that does this. It's 2022 I don't understand the mail only use for billing but they can call or email you any other time. I don't know maybe it's just me or I've been with them too long but don't like the recent customer service I've gotten. Time to move on.. I won't be back.

Edit: In response to the reply to my review: My husband is self employed and uses his voicemail daily as a means of business transactions. His outgoing message is currently and always has been personalized. Even if it wasn't, that is not an excuse for not returning calls to your patients that are waiting to hear from you. There is no way that the voice mail was inoperable THREE times. You can lie to attempt to cover your lack of consideration for your patients, but the truth shows. We have never been treated with such utter disregard by a care provider! I'm still in disbelief over how we were treated by Dr Urling after being satisfied patients for years in this office. I can't say enough about his staff, they were always friendly, attentive and personable. Dr Urling- not so much... My husband was told by the Hygenist that Dr Urling wanted to do a crown on a tooth, and he came home confused because he had no pain, no history of a filling, and wasn't even sure which tooth was in question. The next day he asked me to call the office to clarify what was needed. After a week of anticipating a return call and carrying his phone in his pocket, I called again, and after another week of waiting, we decided to stop in the office to speak face to face. The Dr was too busy to talk, but the third message was taken for him to call. A week later I called, and expressed our disappointment with Dr Urling. I said that my husband didn't want to get a second opinion just to get answers, but after still not taking a moment to call us, that is just what we did. We were told that the tooth did NOT require an expensive crown, and the other dentist offered to place a filling in the tooth on the same visit which my husband of course consented to. Months later, when he presented back to Dr Urling, he was verbally chastised for going elsewhere. A week later via mail, he was discharged from the practice! Since this time, we have stumbled upon several previous patients who had also been told they needed expensive treatments by Dr Urling, to later find out that they in fact weren't necessary. I guess being discharged from the practice was a blessing in disguise. If you are looking for a dentist, look elsewhere, where the dentist actually has time to speak with the patients. It's a shame as he truly has a great staff to support him.

Visited two other dentists before driving an hour to visit Dr. Urling and his staff in Farmington. Dr. Urling was the only dentist to take an extra few minutes to discuss my desires and options for a potential root canal. His rates are very reasonable, staff very professional and kind, and I appreciate Dr. Urling's willingness to work up a plan with me for my tooth health. I will be making Dr. Urling my dentist for all exams, cleanings, and teeth procedures moving forward. Thanks Show Me Dental for the very pleasant dental visit. I look forward to my next visit! Update 11/2020: Dr. Urling successfully completed a tooth extraction and implant procedure to replace a decaying tooth. Almost no pain, very reasonably priced for the operation, and was able to get me in the same day as my exam to complete the one-hour procedure. Continue to be very impressed!

The experience at Show Me Dental alleviated all worries and stressors I had about the present and any future dental appointment. They were non judgmental, kind, patient and provided me with a detailed list of what I needed, what insurance would cover and what my out of pocket expense would be. The back of the house staff was amazing!! I say back of the house because everyone I felt with after the receptionist was beyond exceptional. I say everyone but the receptionist, because the young lady (blond, front of the desk) is not very welcoming, she comes across rude and gives the impression she is either put out doing her job or super judgmental, I can't tell which. In addition, she feels the need to refer to customers as 'hun' which might not bother most people and maybe it's a southern thing, however, It is off putting to me. I am a grown woman, with a college degree who does not appreciate being called hun, honey, sweetie or anything other than my name. I did mention this to her, in a polite manner, which wasn't received well by her. I also mentioned it to my technician when In the dental chair. I just now called and she called me hun again. I do understand that maybe she does not know that I'm the same person, however, she should refrain from calling anyone 'hun, honey or sweetie' that is a patron of show me dental. It is a misogynistic term that is degrading on many levels, especially when it's directed to a middle age women by a 20 something young girl. I'm hopeful that management will have a conversation with her snd strongly encourage her from using the 'pet names' from her vocabulary. It is only because the rest of the staff is over the top amazing that I return to Show me Dental for my dental care. In addition the facility is cleaner than any dentist office I've ever been in and my doctor was the kindest, most understanding and helpful dentist I've ever encountered. I will continue to recommend and be a patron of Show Me Dental.

Had a fantastic experience for a extraction. You can fill paperwork via email before your visit saving time in the waiting room. Once in your room they provide the best distraction I've seen in practice via TV mounted to the ceiling and the wall. My local was applied sparingly before the procedure and towards the end so that soreness was not a issue while waiting for prescriptions to be filled lasting me 2 hours after my visit. Very competitive price. No judgment from the staff as a person needing alot of work done it was a nice professional interaction.

Show Me Dental in Farmington is a terrific place to go for all your Dental needs. I was treated with kindness and they are all professional. Very thorough. I would certainly recommend this place. They did not try to sell me anything or talk me into extra work on my teeth I really don't need. Thank you for an excellent office visit!!

I believe this is my second review ever but felt it was needed so active duty military do not have the same customer service here in the future. Some at the front desk (I believe her name was Lindsey but could be wrong due to her unprofessional attitude) need to get trained on how active duty military insurance works. So this review has nothing to do with the dentist, my last visit in 2018 went extremely well. It went so well that I made the decision to start scheduling appointments here for my wife & two daughters when covid slowed down. Well we'll take our 1 oral surgery, braces and 2 cleanings needed currently elsewhere.
