Upon graduation, he yearned to be closer to his parents and returned to San Francisco for four years, working in both private practice and providing dental care to low-income families in the Chinatown community. Dr. Tse is a firm believer in health and wellness and his wife, Satori, shares in his passion for health. They married in 2008 and decided to return to Richmond, Virginia, to start a family. Dr. David Tse is blessed with two boys, Daniel and Edison, and his dog, Mochi. Dr. Tse enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, especially anything involving Marvel superheroes, and traveling.
Short Pump dentist, Dr. David Tse is passionate about dentistry. He is proficient in all aspects of dentistry including the latest dental techniques. He regularly emphasizes the importance of education and is constantly learning ways to improve and enhance the patients health and experience. He is and will always be your biggest advocate for dental health. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the International Dental Implant Association.

Only good experiences here so far. Staff and Dentists are helpful and listen to patient concerns. Prices are reasonable. Treatment plans are clearly communicated. Would recommend to others.

It is the first time for me to visit this dental office. The cleaning nurse (whose name is Nihoha) is very nice and patiently check each of my teeth. Dr. Yse is very helpful and provides reasonable recommendations for my best interest. Will continue to stay with this dental office.

My appointment was scheduled months in advance and was canceled two days before. Terrible service and I am highly frustrated given that I never asked for my services to be canceled. I will also be reviewing my rights with respects to HIPAA since the organization has decided to reply with their perspective on aspects to my care.

Everyone there is very nice and professional. They listened to the issues I was having with my teeth and worked to resolve them in the best and fastest way possible. I recommend this practice highly. They are very concerned with make sure yup are comfortable throughout your visit. They are great!!

First visit to Short Pump Family Dentistry today. The whole team was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The cleaning went well and Dr. Tse was great. He quickly checked out a tender spot by one of my teeth and it's better already. Great experience!

Enjoyed my first visit to Short Pump Family Dentistry. The staff was nice and easy to work with and Dr. Tse was great and personable. They have a cancellation list that they can put you on if you can't get an appointment date you want. I appreciate that because getting in to see a dentist is so difficult now. I highly recommend!

This is our 6th year at SPFD. TEAM SPFD is very on top of scheduling and helping you thoroughly if you need to reschedule. When I arrive, I immediately get in the chair and they get to work. Mahiko, the hygienist, is extremely thorough and I absolutely love that (no wimps allowed.. but if you are, she is also very gentle). Dr Tse is very kind, patient with your questions/answers, and will show you something if you want to see it. He is willing to educate and is no non-sense with the information he gives you about your good habits AND opportunities for improvement. The last few times I have been here, I get out of the chair excited to to continue to prioritize my dental hygiene, and teach my 9 year old how it's done... Our little ones are watching! The Office staff are thorough communicators, organized, and have great energy. I really like their affordable non-insured dental plan, it is better than most insurance coverages I have encountered. They also accept Delta Dental. I'm very grateful for their terms as well as my dental health. I will continue to recommend anyone I know to go there! Thank you Short Pump Family Dentistry #SPFD

I am writing this after my initial visit, which was very good. From the receptionist to the dentist, everyone was very friendly. It was not the type of "it's my job to be nice to you" friendliness, it was a laid back, sincere interaction with the staff. I love how Leo (the hygienist) took time to explain things to me and then Dr. Tse (he is wonderful) talked to me for quite some time about my care. I'm really glad I found this place.

Dr Tse's office is the best!! Dr Tse really cares about his patients and is very personable. The hygienist who cleans my teeth listens and does a very thorough job. This practice is out of network for me but I'm not leaving. I don't believe I would get the level of care I get here.
