Dr. Shores received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. She has been a healthcare professional for over 20 years, first as a dental hygienist and then as a general dentist. Dr. Shores is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
She is a pioneer in cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics, opening the first dental spa in Augusta, GA. Her love of head and neck anatomy have honed her skills using injectable therapy for smile enhancement and total facial esthetics, as well as applying these agents for TMJ/orofacial pain, bruxism and trigger point injections.Dr. Shores is a highly respected faculty member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She enjoys sharing her passion by helping to teach the art and science of facial esthetic enhancements.
Dr. Shores is married to Brent Shores. They got married while in their first year of college and have one daughter, Kristen, who graduated from Evans High School. They are members of New Hope Worship Center here in Augusta. Dr. Shores and her family love the Augusta area. You may find them out kayaking on the river or camping out at Clarks Hill Lake on their time off.
