Dr. Paul Field is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with advanced training in the treatment of infants, children, teens and patients with special health care needs. After working in private practice in Frisco for six years, Dr. Field is excited to have opened an office closer to his home in Rockwall.
Dr. Field was raised by the beaches in Southern California and is fun-loving and easygoing, but dont let that fool you heis also an Eagle Scout and has a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He likes doing magic tricks, telling jokes, and loves working with kids! He has been married to his college sweetheart Sunny for over 10 years and they have three young children: Sadie, Seren, and Elliott. The smallest member of the Field crew is Batman their French Bulldog. As a father, Dr. Field is able to relate to parents and treats each patient as if they were his own child.
Dr. Field graduated Suma Cum Laude from California State University Long Beach and went on to graduate as a Regents Scholar from UCLA School of Dentistry. He then completed specialty training in a Pediatric Dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry that included training at Childrens Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital. Dr. Field has extensive experience in treating children with special healthcare needs and also higher level behavior management including sedation and hospital Dentistry. Dr. Field is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has received national recognition for his research. He is a member of the Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry among others.
Erika is a Registered Dental Assistant with extensive experience in Pediatric Dentistry. Her goal is to provide a pleasant and fun experience to every patient. She loves working with kids and she treats each of them as if they were her own. In Erikas spare time see likes to hang out at her son Camerans football games or go to competitive cheer with her daughters Mariah and Makayla. Erika grew up and currently still lives in Garland. Her must haves are Starbucks, Mexican and seafood.
Kathi joins the Shoreline Pediatric Dentistry crew with 13 years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and loves working with children. In addition, she is a great resource to help with any insurance or scheduling questions you may have. Kathi is here to help ensure a great experience for both you and your child. Although born in California, Kathi and her husband Vincent now call Texas their home. She enjoys dancing, spending time with friends and family, and loves any chance she has to travel to the beach.
After spending over 12 years in the child care field, Marie had an opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. She started working in the field of dentistry in 2017. She says the best part of her job is having fun with the children and teaching them the importance of good oral hygiene. She loves to see the excitement on their faces when they come back to visit us. When Marie is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and cheering on their two kids who keep them very busy with all their activities.

My oldest son (6) and I have been through hell trying to find a dentist we trust and like. Dr. Field and his staff exceeded those expectations. I was so nervous and on the verge of getting sick in the front office when they took Jaxson back to have an extraction done. The front office noticed my uneasy feeling and told me if I felt uncomfortable I was more than welcome to come sit with my son. Immediately I took them up on the offer and walked back to sit with Jaxson. I quietly let myself in and sat in the corner of the room Dr.Field and his assistant are being so great with Jaxson. He's not the best patient to do dentist work on we've had some bad experiences and his assistant has done an amazing job distracting him and making him feel comfortable and dr.field is such a great communicative dr. I got a breath of fresh air finding this dentist. Maybe next time I will let him go back by himself. Thank you Dr.Field.

Loved this dental office! The staff was so nice and welcoming and Dr. Field was gentle with my daughter the whole time he was cleaning her teeth even though she was crying and fussing. I dreaded taking my toddler to the dentist because the previous office we went to was pushy on having her go thru a procedure I didn't seem necessary and Dr. Field never mentioned this "issue" and said my daughter's teeth looked great! He seems real honest! I'm so glad we came here and my daughter seemed to like it more after she got her little toy whale the gave us. Can't wait to come back

My wife and I were referred here from the crunchy moms Facebook group. Our son needed a lip and tongue tie procedure performed. I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the fact they didn't push any medications. The doctor was extremely personable and answered all of our questions. My family and I enjoyed our visit and I'm sure you will too.

Love this place! Such amazing staff! My 6 yr old trusted this dentist by the first visit and even had 2 teeth pulled for first the time and he wasn't even scared! By far the best pediatric dentist!

We have been taking our kids to Shoreline for several years now. Dr. Field and his team are always so welcoming and professional. They are absolutely amazing with the kids and I always leave feeling so impressed by them! You will not regret trusting them with your babies.. they are truly top notch!

He is a great dentist my Daughter need to have a treatment and was her first time with a dentist and she was so happy to get it done she said she was not even nervous because the doctor was very nice I really recommend him also all his staff is great I'm happy to have him as my daughter dentist

Best place ever, the doctor and his staff are really nice, polite and make you feel safe! They explain every single step they are going to do, I went to do my baby's tongue tie and lip tie, I wasn't able to go to my house and they wait with me, such a sweet people, deserve everything! They make you feel good!

I am beyond pleased with Dr. Field and his staff! I am a Dental Hygienist and have high expectations especially with who is taking care of my children and they not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Very clean and taking all precautions that are necessary due to covid. From the front office to the back they all make you feel like family. My 4 year old can not wait to go back!

Dr. Field is so great with kids. My daughter has sensory issues with her mouth, we've done eating therapy, she's had a traumatic experience with a strep test - gagging and needing to be restrained at a doctor visit in order to run a second throat swab - so I was nervous going into her first dentist appointment in over a year today. She wouldn't lie down on the table but Dr. Field got her talking about her stuffed animal and got her to lie down in my lap and actually open her mouth for counting, brushing, and flossing. No tears. I was impressed and relieved. Again, he's great with kids and really cares about her dental health! Highly recommended. Plus their office is a cool ocean theme

I can't say enough good things about this place, the staff and the dentist. I went to 2 other places before here and I LOVE this place. I'm a worry mom and they understand and keep my mind at ease. Usually for procedures my stomach knots up on the way and I feel sick the whole time, not once did I feel this way. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHORELINE!

We absolutely love Dr. Fields and his staff! Brooke was so helpful in getting us in quickly. My son went to a family dentist last year and it did not go well so we tried Dr. Fields and it was a world of difference. He knows exactly how to talk to the kiddos and make them feel like their having fun. The dental technician that cleaned his teeth even said "let's put some jump rope in between your teeth, smile big like an alligator". All these little things made him laugh and he loved it. He's even talking about going back and showing Daddy the report card he got from his appt, adorable!

We were very nervous to bring our five year old to have treatment for his cavities from previous experiences. We have tried three times from different Drs. And decided to try Shoreline Pediatric Dentistry and are so glad we did! Dr fields is extremely talented and got the job done while making us all feel comfortable.
