Dr. Ellis graduated from New York University, College of Dentistry in 2004. She then completed her residency at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury, CT, and has been practicing general dentistry in Old Saybrook and Waterford since 2006. Dr. Ellis thrives on seeing results in her patients that enhance their smiles and self-esteem and feels the most rewarding part of her job is improving her patients quality of life and alleviating any pain. Dr. Ellis works with great empathy and compassion and strives to change peoples perceptions of going to the dentist. She achieves this by providing comprehensive care with an emphasis on early detection and education to prevent dental diseases at the forefront.
Dr. Ellis was born in Kemerovo, Russia, and is fluent in Russian. She now resides in Clinton with her husband, Richard, and her son, Kevin. In her free time, she enjoys participating in her sons sports activities, going to the beach, and taking long walks with her dog, Daisy.

I always find a visit to the dentist to be pretty stressful. Having just moved into the area this was my first visit to this particular Dentistry I had some additional trepidation. I need not have worried. Dr Ellis and her team especially Diana the hygienist couldn't have been more kind and empathetic. Very thorough examination and I left the visit feeling I had been truly taken care of. This will be my preferred dental practice moving forward. Highly recommended. Thank you all at Shoreline Dental!

Diana did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and xraying my full mouth. I had a nice fresh feeling in my mouth when she was finished. Dr. Ellis gave me a very thorough exam as she always does. I have a lot of confidence in her.

I was very apprehensive about finding a new dentist after being treated for more than 30 yrs. by someone else, and undergoing many difficult dental procedures. Dr. Ellis, Diana, and all support staff have made me feel comfortable and well cared for. Most importantly for me, they are all very careful with the pain-sensitive areas of my mouth so I'm not at all anxious when I go see them. I would recommend Shoreline Family Dentist to everyone.

I been searching for a dentist for quite some time, dealing with pain and other issues. Dr.Ellis was great and so was the staff, very down to earth, no pressure, just facts. Very pleasant atmosphere! I do appreciate that they give you heads up on the expense involved before any procedure is done. Dr. Ellis is personable and accurate in her process and truly cares about her patients. Zara and Diana are so pleasant and make you feel right at home. Me and my family are here to stay!

I was scared to switch to a new dentist when I moved to the shoreline, but Zara was so warm on the phone that I gave them a try, and I'm so glad I did! They took excellent care of me and my sensitive teeth and I have found my forever dentist!
