Dr. Kate Glazer, affectionately known as Dr. Kate by her patients, grew up on the shoreline of Connecticut and is thrilled to be practicing here, in the area she considers home. Dr. Kate earned her Bachelors degree from Tufts University, then went on to receive her DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine (where she also happened to meet her husband, Jason).
Dr. Kate knew from a young age that she wanted to become a dentist. The practice that she went to as a child was a fun place to be, and the dentists she had as a child inspired her to go into the same profession. Perhaps one day, some of her young patients will go on to become dentists themselves!
For Dr. Kate, the best thing about her job is getting to know her patients and watching them grow and blossom before her eyes. Its especially exciting when a child who was once nervous or apprehensive makes the transformation into a happy and confident patient.
Dr. Kate maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She also holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), and the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists (CSPD).

Extraordinary. Dr. Kate and staff are wonderful with children. We see Dr. Kate for regular cleanings, and last week saw her for an emergency visit with our three year old. She immediately called me back before hours and her staff scheduled us for first thing that morning. Dr. Kate and the team took a traumatic fall and quickly and effectively examined my little one while calming the situation. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Absolutely wonderful staff, incredible with my kids who have in the past been very scared of going to the dentist. Always amazed at their approach and how quickly they put my kids at ease.

Incredible experience for our two year old twins. My son is autistic and Dr. Kate and her entire staff are magical with children, I'm so grateful we were recommended her practice! My son and my daughter were thrilled with the tv screen on the ceiling playing Cocomelon (their favorite), and were (VERY SURPRISINGLY) calm the entire time. We will be moving about 45 minutes away soon, and I still intend to bring them to Dr. Kate! We loved everyone. A+ all around!

My boys are 6 and 10 and love coming to the dentist. Dr.Kate and her staff are always smiling, friendly, accommodating and most of all make what for some kids stressful an enjoyable office visit. This office is the absolute BEST child dentist office around - I have yet to meet a kid who goes there and doesn't look forward to the bright, Safari inspired office, ipads for the kids in the waiting room, each exam to has a TV on the ceiling (which your child can pick what to watch while in the chair). There are great flavors and scents for treatments and your child can pick a prize from the treasure chest after their exam. If there are no cavities your name goes in for a monthly drawing for a gift card to the toy store nextdoor. My boys both went today and can't say enough how fun their visit was.

We love Dr Kate and the rest of the staff! They are all very welcoming and kid friendly. They make going to the dentist such a positive experience that my kid actually looks forward to his visits !

I am very impressed with the staff and their ability (and techniques) to keep my daughter calm and happy throughout her visits. It takes more than a friendly smile and a "hello." They go above and beyond for my daughter; she loves to ask many questions but they are always patient and kind to her. Not only are they focused on keeping her comfortable and happy but they take all the necessary measures and precautions during this pandemic.

All of the staff are awesome! My daughter gets scared about going for visits and everyone is so patient, understanding & always explain things to her before doing them. After getting over the scared part my daughter is very happy with them & loves Dr Kate!

I rarely review things or places, but through and through with every staff person there Dr. Katie's office is unparalleled. My daughter loves going there. Everything about what the child Sees and feels is positive here. They are highly competent, friendly, conversational, and loving. We just could not be any bit happier with them!!
