Dr. Vafi has been practicing Pediatric dentistry in Pacifica since 1997 when she founded Shoreview dental with her husband Dr. Sam Ahani. Dr. Vafi Obtained her D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific and completed her advanced degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Maryland. Becoming a Pediatric dentist has been a life long dream for Dr. Vafi. She is a passionate clinician who loves treating both healthy and medically compromised children and adolescents in Pacifica. She believes in treating her patients with patience, kindness, and gentle persuasion

Outsider her professional life Dr. Vafi enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters Elika, Nikka, and her dog Bruce. She also enjoys walking, doing bar method, and spending time with friends. As her older daughter is autistic, Dr. Vafi is a staunch supporter of autism causes.

Dr. Mahooti graduated from Northwestern University School of Dentistry in 1985 at the age of 25. Before entering private practice he served as a clinical instructor in Fixed Prosthodontics at the university. Dr. Mahooti operated his own private practice in San Diego prior to moving to the bay area to be closer to his family.

Dr. Mahooti specializes in the field of implant dentistry. He studied implant dentistry at the prestigious Misch International implant Institute, and since then hes placed and restored several thousand implants. He enjoys meeting new patients, earning their trust and solving their dental problems. Besides Dentistry, Dr. Mahooti is an avid soccer fan. Having played the sport in Boarding School, High School and College, he claims that soccer runs in his blood. He is a die hard fan of Manchester United Football Club. His other hobbies are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, chess and poker. He earned a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu in December 2010. He currently competes in many chess and poker tournaments.

Dr. Dezham graduated from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1997 and has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for 23 years. Prior to becoming a dentist, he received his B.S. in Electronics Engineering at Weber state University in Ogden, Utah and worked as a field service engineer for 8 years.

Dr. Dezham is dedicated to continually educating himself on the most up to date techniques in dentistry. In addition to general and cosmetic Dentistry, he is also Certified in Invisalign and Oral Conscious sedation.
