Dr. Jigar S. Gandhi earned his doctorate from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He graduated top of his class and was one of four selected from his graduating class to be inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. This is a National Honorary Fraternity of Dentistry where membership is based upon excellent scholarship, exemplary traits of character, and potential qualities of future professional growth and attainment.
One of the best things about Dr. Gandhi is that he cares for the whole person, not just a set of teeth. He treats his patients in a kind, gentle, and caring manner. He is so proud of the way that patients lives have been improved just by listening to them carefully. He wants so see the overall health of the patient improve.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, New York State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Global Institute for Dental Education, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Fraternity. He was Chief Resident at James J. Peters VA Medical Center in The Bronx, New York.
Dr. Daniil Payziyev attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. As a native to New York, Dr. Payziyev chose to practice in Massapequa to bring comfort dentistry to the community and to provide pain-free and relaxed dental visits to every patient he sees.
In addition to earning his dental degree, he has completed extensive, advanced dentistry courses in surgery and aesthetics, as well as in periodontics to learn modern techniques in digital smile design and minimally-invasive WaterLase laser protocols. He also received the Gamma Pi Delta award in restorative dentistry, and an award of excellence in prosthodontics during residency training.
Dr. Payziyev is passionate about dentistry and helping change peoples health and lives. As dentistry evolves and additional research shows how oral health relates to general well-being, he makes it his mission to spark and educate patients on this connection to help them achieve a healthy body and smile. Dr. Payziyev also believes in customizing treatment plans based on each individuals needs, desires, and goals.

I went to aspen Dental who told me I needed four teeth, pulled and bone grafting done for implants I was recommended to South Shore smiles from a patient who I don't even know and it was the best decision I made to go into see Dr. Gandhi. He assured me I didn't need to have my teeth pulled and I would be keeping my teeth for at least the next 10 years. My treatment starts in November.. Dr. Gandhi was amazing as was his entire staff. The office was clean all state of the art equipment. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you Dr. Gandhi and staff.

Dr. Ryan and his assistant Nash were fantastic. I was going in for a root canal and they put me at ease right away. Dr. Ryan and Nash answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend if you need a dentist that's where you should go.

Dental hygienist was nice and very gentle. My concerns are with the receptionist and scheduling staff. I was greeted by someone who was on the phone with another patient taking to both me and them. Rude for both sides and a bit confusing. There seems to be a major push of text and email messages to assure we are on time for our appointment but then I was called in 10 minutes past my appointment time. Again, mixed messages. Lastly it seems that although they ask you what doctor you want to see, apparently my doctor(Dr G) cannot treat me any longer Unless I have major surgery. Having dental phobias I trust one doctor there (had an unpleasant experience in the past with someone else in that office) but am told he can no longer treat me. I have asked for him to call me at his convenience but the scheduler was not interested in my satisfaction or experience she was basically just repeating herself and refused making an appointment for me with him. I left very upset and unsettled. My experience will be influenced on whether I get a call back from the doctor or not. I have recommended many people to this practice but will let them know of my disheartening experience
