Dr. Gerard Sarni has over twenty years of experience in general dentistry, and his last ten years have been spent as Director with Allied Dental Practices of New Jersey. Dr. Sarni, a native of Queens, New York, attended Hofstra University before graduating from NYU Dental School in 1993. He is a proud member of the Italian American Association of Ocean County. He lives with his wife Andrea in Monmouth County, where they own and operate an animal rescue agency. His patience and compassion for all living things shines through in his dental career, resulting in the expert care he provides to his patients.
Dr. Nikolaos Gavrilis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Molecular Biology/Microbiology in 1995. Immediately after, he was accepted at New York University where he received his DDS. This was followed by a two year general residency at Woodhull Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his second year. He furthered his studies by accepting a position at the University of Pittsburgh in the Prosthodontics Specialty Department and received his Prosthodontics Speciality Certificate in 2004. His training placed higher emphasis on Implant Surgery and Implant Restoration, and so in 2004 he received Fellow and Diplomate status at the International College of Oral Implantology, an independent organization responsible for accreditation, guidance, and to some degree, regulation in the field of dental implants. Upon completion of his Prosthodontics specialty, he decided he wanted to receive specialty trainings in Endodontics as well, which he also completed at the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. He has been in private practices since receiving his DDS and has been providing specialty care such as root canals and implant surgery in our offices since 2006. He enjoys his position with our company, as he feels he has encountered a wonderful setting which allows him to provide the best possible care to his patients in a care-free environment.
Dr. Michael Park grew up near Chicago, IL. He studied Biological Sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca and went on to receive his dental education at Columbia University, earning his DDS in 2015. He then completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University. He is a member of AAPD and will be board eligible in 2018. His goal is to always make your child feel at ease by striving to provide positive and fun memories at their visit to the dentist. He enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball.
Austin Port, DMD grew up in Ocean County, NJ. He attended the University of California in San Diego as an undergraduate and went on to receive his dental education at Rutgers University, earning his DMD in 2015. He then completed his General Practice Residency in dentistry at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. As a general dentist, Dr. Port is well versed in all aspects of patient care. All of his past experiences provide the foundations for great clinical care with a gentle touch. He is excited to be a part of our dental community for years to come!

STOP!!!DON'T GO TO MANAHAWKIN FAMILY DENTAL.IF I COULD GIVE THEM NO STAR I WOULD. BILLING DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE. STAFF IN MANAHAWKIN NJ IS THE BY FAR THE WORSE PEOPLE I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH. NOT TO MENTION MY BRIDGE WORK WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY. NO CARING OR UNDERSTANDING. DID NOT WANT TO ADJUST THEM AND TOLD ME TO GO ESLEWHERE. WITH NO FULL REFUND OF MY MONEY. HAD TO PAY ANOTHER DENTIST TO CORRECT AND REPLACE WHAT DR. YURY DID. DON'T GO HERE. I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY 1700. OVER A YEAR AGO

Family shore Dental I needed there assistance with my teeth a emergency situation with my teeth they were rude they threw me out not to ever come back and they still can not explain a real good reason why!! I got along with everyone! Maybe it's because I was on Medicaid? Rather then cash? so they stopped my son also from Coming and he did nothing wrong he's only a child. I really want to sue this dental Place n file charges I DO not drive and this was closer to where I live. This was horrible the way that they treated me. Been going to them for years. I do not deserve this. I want to sew them! This place should b closed down and I will tell all of my friends n family not to go there! Very very humiliating!! The arrogance when I needed them the most with my teeth they did not care at all about me as a person or about my teeth! I will Rate them a 0 they did not make me feel Comfortable not in the least! The staff here are so friendly and professional. Never had to wait very long in the waiting room. Once in, my experiences have always been very pleasant, and even fun. Yes, I laugh with the staff! You can too!

FYI.. to whomever picked up the phone. Not only can I belive how I was treated, but when pointed out the conversation actually went downhill. I asked to speak with manager and was told she was. No way I can believe that. The shame of it all is I no longer feel comfortable., and will not allow you to do work on me. This is terrible business and I will continue to post poorly until an apology

Wait time wasn't too long things being as they are. Tye staff from check in to exrays, cleaning, dentist and checkout were terrific. Spevial thanks to Cheryl, ( hygienist) as I'm a difficult patient!

Every time I have to go there I have been treated very well by friendly caring staff and Dentist. The only drawback is the wait time to get in. But I cannot complain about how I am treated.

Can't understand a patient walks in to try to get a crown fixed the staff gets nasty with her and then calls the police the police respond they interview the patients waiting in the waiting room come out to the the patient that was the police were called on and tells her it was the staff and they could see her an 1-1:30 and one of the officers says I would never go there again why is that dentist allowing his staff to be nasty to his own customers something should be done don't you think? There is a dentist on every corner nobody needs to go to you fix your customer service....

Office staff and manager need to be fired or trained in dealing with the public. There was a situation this morning which was completely uncalled for. No regard shown for their clients. I give them NO stars but need to put at least one in order to post.

As a patient with a plethora of dental issues and awful insurance i HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I've been going here 12 years, Dr. Sarni is phenomenal as is dr nik. I am so grateful for the office and all they do to advocate for their patients, especially with the insurance companies. They have really done a great job making the office more accessible and I can reach them anytime- or hear from them for off hour emergencies. I truly recommend this practice, from the front desk to the Dr's all are knowledgeable, helpful, and kind

We came in today to update my mother's dentures and everyone was great from the front desk all the way up to the doctor. Technician who took my mother's x-rays was exceptional, she was very caring, and very patient since my mother is 93 yrs old and walks slow. The Doctor was absolutely great, he came in checked my mom and informed us that everything looked great with her and will feel better once she receives her new dentures. Great experience! Thank you!
