Sedation dentistry may be the right choice for many patients, including those suffering from excessive anxiety or fear relating to their endodontic treatment, children, and those with special needs. We offer both nitrous oxide, and intravenous (IV) sedation options to ensure our patients are comfortable and calm throughout their entire experience with us. Shore Endodontics works with Board Certified Anesthesiologists to provide our patients with the highest level of care.

I was told my root canal would be around $250-$300 before I even made the appointment . When arrived for appointment , they got me ready , signed all kinds of papers then the Dentist came In and looked at my tooth and said I needed to have a 3D X-ray that was not covered by insurances . The price would be $260 out if pocket . The staff especially the Women prepping me for the root canal was very nice and I had no complains when it came to that part. Also when they told the doctor , I over heard him say we can try it without the image and see how it goes. I have had a few root canals and never was gouged finically like this. I went there expecting to pay $300 , after my Insurance billed , and right before the numbing they tell me that they needed another $260 for a 3D image of my entire Mouth ! They also knew insurance does not pay for this type of image, the Dentist stated we will bill them even thou they won't pay it , lmao . What a joke ! As if Dentist work isn't expensive already ! SMH They should make sure they tell every person making an appointment for a root canal that there's a possibility they might have to may and extra $260 for the 3D imaging . The One receptionist on the way out was very defensive and said it depends on the person , and she was very rude . I told her I had several root canals and they always explained what the fees could be prior to the Appointment . I would never go there again nor would I recommend this place . They get u in the door then slam u with more imaging that's not needed . . I left there with my mouth all numb and still no resolve and a waste of my time . Please don't waste your time or money there

They are very friendly and caring to their patients. DR Scrime is amazing she keeps you informed throughout the procedure and is very gentle. She makes a Root Canel pleasant if that is possible. Totally recommend her.

And Dr Michele Scrime is wonderful...caring & commited to giving a thorough evaluation of a patient's needs I didn't require a root canal....so she directed me to the next step in my dental care . I arrived today for my appointment, which was rescheduled from early 2022, due to Covid ... I introduced myself and mentioned I was here for a 9:15 appointment. The receptionist said you can't just schedule work here, who referred you for 14. I assumed 14 is a tooth they had planned to do the root canal in earlier in the year. Long story short she was extreme rude about me showing up for an appointment... they scheduled, and called to confirm. I suggested she could look up who referred me in my file from the work previously done. She snapped at me, and said you haven't had work done since 2021, and that file wouldn't be available any more. Rude, confrontational experience with the person handle patients(customers) at the reception area. I'll never use Shore Endidontics Toms River again.
