Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

At Shoppingtown Dental Services we understand that getting dental care has financial considerations and offer several payment options. To alleviate any additional stress and to help our patients avoid any unnecessary delays in care, we accept many insurance plans including CSEA, Cigna, Delta Dental, Excellus, Lifetime, MetLife, UMR, United Concordia, and most major PPO's. Our insurance specialists on staff will work with you to optimize coverage for your dental care. For patients without insurance, Shoppingtown Dental Services accepts most major credit cards including Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover, we offer low-interest financing through CareCredit, and we accept cash and checks.
Dr. Simlote has proudly been practicing in the Town of Dewitt for the last 32 years. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree (BDS) from Gujarat University, India in 1974. After which he completed a residency in Oral Surgery. He continued his studies and received Master of Dental Surgery Degree (MDS) in Prosthodontics in 1977. Dr. Simlote completed his education at New York University School of Dentistry and received his license to practice in the State of New York in 1981. Dr. Simlote is also licensed to practice in the State of Maryland.

Dr. Simlote and his staff are top notch. The care is fantastic and they are upfront about costs and insurance. They explain things in a way that helps you make decisions about your care. It's tough to find a good dentist. I'm glad my wife and I have found them!

I have been coming to Shoppingtown dental for years and the staff is amazing. Dr. Simlote has seen all my children and is so great with them, they are very comfortable in his care. Miss Pat at the front is so kind and makes you feel like family. The office is small and personal and I recommend them to anyone looking for dental services. I've been a patient for over 20 years. Dr. Simlote is kind, caring and gentle. Would highly recommend for anyone having dentist anxiety. His staff are great and the receptionist is kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. Great facility - always clean with updates.

I literally love coming here when I have my dentist appointments seriously....like I started getting work on my teeth maybe 3-4 months ago and the dentist there literally did all the work I needed and fixed the issues I had going on from my old fillings when my old dentist dropped me due to Covid so now I literally don't feel no pain and it's better then ever thanks seriously to this place and his amazing DENTAL STAFF!!!!!!! I love their personality's and they just make everything a overall amazing experience. The one dental hygienist I can't remember her name but she's such a gem every time I come there when I get my teeth worked on with the doctor. I recommend this dentist if your looking for a dentist. Seriously 10 out of 10!!!!!

Dr Simlote is the most caring dentist I have gone to! He really is very good at his job. I went to him for many yrs, and had great service at every appt. Due to home fire, we moved out of state. I have to find a new dentist now. I do miss my Dentist Dr.Simlote. Many blessings to you and your staff.

Have been with this doctor for twenty years. The practice staff is always professional, friendly, and prompt. Dr. Simlote applies the latest techniques and preventative dental practices.

Okay, yeah you're good and everything. But why it is that when you confirmed a case of an infection in someone's root, AFTER you x-rayed - you didn't prescribe an anti-biotic...? And this was even AFTER you were told it was in causing an insane amount of pain that started Wednesday night, going into Thursday morning? Why is that? Instead, you referred them to a specialist, when you could have just given the anti-biotic to clear up the infection, AND THEN, MAYBE, talk about seeing a specialist. That's really shady and messed up on your end - especially if it casing someone that much pain, and can cause sepsis. Real smart. I will no longer be coming back here. Ever.

I HATE going to the dentist. Terrified of them. But, I broke a tooth, was in a lot of pain, and needed a root canal to fix the issue. Dr Simlote was WONDERFUL. He was patient. He keep checking w/ me to make sure I wasn't in pain during the procedure. It was quick and easy! Did I mention, his staff was fantastic, as well!?! Very kind ladies that were understanding, not condescending, of my fear of dentists! I have found my new dental office!!!
