Joseph Shoop, a resident of Broken Arrow most of his life, is a 2004 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1995, and received a bachelor's degree in cellular biology and chemistry from Northeastern State University in 2000. He and his wife Kelly have been married since 1998 and have two children, Jonah and Hannah.
He is also an active member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Tulsa County Dental Society, and the Tulsa Endo Study Club. Dr. Shoop is very active in his church where he serves as a deacon and is a sponsor in the high school youth department. Dr. Shoop has been on dental mission trips to South America and most recently, Africa.
Dr. Shoop worked for seven years as a dentist in midtown Tulsa before opening his own practice in Broken Arrow.
