Dr. Shooks father has always been his inspiration, and hed like to replicate the same warm, welcoming experiences for his patients. Community means everything to Dr. Shook, which is why he wants to provide positive dental experiences through a breadth of services to everyone in Eau Claire.

When Dr. Shook was young, he watched his father become a staple in the community, providing exceptional dental care to friends and neighbors for nearly 40 years. This set Dr. Shook down a path that would influence his entire career.Initially, Dr. Shook worked in a dental lab, which reinforced the idea that dentistry was the career for him. He completed an undergraduate program at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and went on to dental school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.After completing dental school, Dr. Shook knew he wanted to start a private practice in his hometown. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since he was young, and hes back to bring the same warm, welcoming experiences that his father provided to the community for so many years. His goal is to turn every new patient into a friend and make sure that every new friend leaves with a smile.

Meet the original Dr. Shook! Dr. Randy has humbly served the Chippewa Valley for decades before passing the torch to his son, Dr. John Shook. He worked as a general dentist for 38 years, owned 3 private practices, and even retired twice! Dr. Randy served as an Air Force Dentist and was honored when he received the Meritorious Service Medal. He truly believes he has lived a blessed life and thinks it is important to give back to his community. He currently mentors students at the Chippewa Valley Technical School Dental Clinic as well as the Free Clinic here in Eau Claire. During his free time, Dr. Shook enjoys spending time with his wife Sheila (a dental hygienist at the office) and their dog, Shadow. He is a father to 3 grown, married children and a grandfather to 4 grandchildren the growing family keeps him busy! Dr. Shook also enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, learning the game of golf, as well as wood carving. He is so excited to help Shook Family Dental become one of the premier dental offices in the Chippewa Valley!

Sheila has been a Dental Hygienist for years and genuinely enjoys helping people find their way to better dental health. Utilizing cutting-edge tools and methods to help people achieve optimal oral health is one of Sheila's favorite parts of the job. She believes that oral hygiene is deeply connected to overall whole-body health and is honored to help you make the best of your smile!

I am a 2006 graduate of Chippewa Valley Technical College in Dental Hygiene. I was born and raised in Eau Claire. I have a passion for helping educate my patients and the relationships built with my patients is extremely important. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters and recently added a golden doodle, Nemo to our family. I enjoy traveling, crafting, baking and spending lots of time with my family.

I love being part of a team that really emphasizes quality care in a way that can make each patient feel comfortable to visit us! In my free time, my boyfriend and I love to spend time outside with our dog. We love fishing, bow hunting, and camping together. I also love to run, read, and take care of my many plants.

Hi! My name is Kaleena and you will find me at the front desk. I have been in the dental industry for several years, both as an assistant and a receptionist. I've been lucky enough to get the best of both worlds, being able to sneak in the back if needed to get my assisting fix, but my comfort is at the front. I love meeting new people and building lasting relationships with our patients. It's been a real pleasure to work for an office so committed to creating a calm, inviting environment for everyone. What drew me to Shook Family Dental the most was the true passion for mental health and wanting to help the community in the best way possible. When I am not at work, I spend my time with my soon to be husband(newly engaged...yay!) Ty, our 4 children, Elijah, Kingston, Pearl, and Vivian. We LOVE finding new adventures outside, very busy with karate, boxing, and poms. Summer is by far our favorite and busiest time of the year! Although, I do enjoy those crisp autumn walks. Fun fact: We have a sweet little sun conure parrot named Kiwi. She loves to do tricks for us(she can spin, shake, and follow our body movements), she's really trying to learn to talk for us(it's not common for a conure to speak), and loves to give kisses. Hi, Im Brooke! I studied Dental Assisting at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake, where I graduated with honors and set the record for most hours of volunteering to date. Shortly after graduation I became nationally certified through the Dental Assisting National Board. I also have previous work experience in Oral Surgery and Endodontics. With my experience in multiple specialties and volunteering, it has provided me not only with valuable work experience but also with the satisfaction of being able to give back to my community. I have had the pleasure of assisting with Dr. Monica Shook since 2019. I strive to build lasting relationships with patients and help to provide comprehensive care to all patients, in a friendly, relaxed (even fun!) environment. I grew up in Cornell and I currently reside in Lake Hallie with my husband, Corey, our daughter, Parker and our dog, Lexey. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping (my husband doesnt approve of this hobby), photography, binge watching Netflix, singing in the car (I may or may not be tone deaf), going to sporting events, and being crafty.
