Dr. Shoemaker is a mechanical engineer from Georgia Tech. He spent two years working for Lockheed Martin in Marietta before returning to dental school. Dr. Shoemakerreceived his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated number one in his class. He completed his Pediatric Dental Residencyat the same institution. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Following graduation, Dr. Shoemaker worked as a full time faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia. He has given lectures at national and regional dental meetings discussing the management of special needs patients and technological advancements in the practice of pediatric dentistry. After his academic career, Dr. Shoemaker worked in private practice in the Atlanta area for a number of years prior to opening Shoemaker Pediatric Dentistry.
Brittney earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia in 2006. She has worked in the field of pediatric dentistry since that time. Her love for children of all ages is evident in the way she interacts with patients every day.
Brittney and her husband both grew up right here in Kennesaw and love that they get to raise their two daughters in their hometown. Brittney and her family love to travel and spend time outdoors with their yellow lab, Sir Kingslee. She also enjoys cooking, sewing, and reading!
Christa has over six and a half years of experience in the dental field. She loves children and has a passion for working with them. She has been married for eight years and has three children of her own.
Rebecca has over 12 years ofexperience in the dental field including pediatrics and orthodontics. She loves working with children and was excited to join our team in August 2019. She completed a dental missiontrip to Guatemala where her love for dentistry continued to grow while helping children in need. She is originally from Colorado where she met her Husband of almost nine years. They moved to the Atlanta area in 2012.

The best pediatric dentist! We love Dr. Shoemaker and the whole team! Everybody is so kind and takes great care of my kids. We actually moved farther out of town but I still bring my kids here because we love it so much.

Five star cannot do enough justice to this Team. The absolute best in town, we've been to two pediatric dentists before we finally came here and the experience is day and night. My wife brought our sons the first initial appointment and she spoke so highly of them and when I brought our older son for fillings the second time I got to fully understand why she was praising them that much. Keep being the best!

My daughters first visit (2 years old) was a success! She was a little worried at first, but Dr. Shoemaker and his wonderful staff made her so comfortable and explained things to her. I am so impressed and recommend him to everyone!

Super nice office staff, no wait time. Dr Shoemaker was so nice and made my 2 year old and 11 year old laugh. We had a very pleasant experience and will be back in 6 months.

Super nice place. Nice small staff. Very quick but willing to answer any and all of questions. They were also good with my 2 year old son. The televisions on the ceilings was a nice touch. Maybe could use a touch of diversity.

Amazing office! Staff is so sweet. They calmed my nerves when my rambunctious 2 year old ran into the bedframe pushing his teeth in . They fit my baby in the same day! And took care and time to explain everything to me! Definitely making this office our dentist!

I asked around for recommendations for a pediatric dentist and almost everyone said Dr. Shoemaker. And I am so glad I listened. All the glowing reviews are absolutely true. The office is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. There are fun games to keep the littles entertained in the waiting room. The staff are so amazingly sweet and friendly. Dr. Shoemaker himself is kind, professional, and really great with children. He also really makes sure that you feel heard and that all of your questioned are answered. I'm so delighted to have found such a great dentist for my child.

We had such a good experience here. My three year old son had his first cleaning and Ms. Brittany and Dr. Shoemaker were amazing with him. He is very sensitive and I was nervous about how it would go. They go above and beyond in making the kids feel comfortable and in the know about what they're doing. They also let you choose what show to put on. Everyone's demeanor made us feel so comfortable and my son loved it. I will definitely continue going here.

My daughter is not an easy patient, especially when it comes to Dentistry. However, each person in this office made her feel comfortable and welcomed and they met her right where she is. We've been turned away from dental offices in the past due to the complexity of her needs. This office however was a life changing experience. It gave me so much hope that my child's teeth can be taken care of and not a lost cause. No matter how challenging, they are willing to help us, her parents, to help her. I am so appreciative of this office and highly recommend them to all families, especially those with special needs.
