Shodhan Dentistry serves nearby areas of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Yucca Valley, and Coachella Valley. Thus, we see patients who have traveled from Canada and many other regions throughout the country.
Very friendly and attentive staff, and most importantly, they take you in at your scheduled time. The doctors are friendly and work well with children. The office is very clean and seems organized as well. I would definitely recommend them!
In October 2003, Dr. Keyur Shodhan opened his practice at Shodhan Dentistry in Desert Hot Springs, California. Since then, our dentist have come to offer a variety of treatments and procedures that can effectively improve a persons oral health as well as enhance his or her smile. His collective experience in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry, in addition to providing a caring and gentle bedside manner, attest to his reputation as skilled dental professional.
In 1994, Dr. Keyur Shodhan started studying dentistry at Rural Dental College (RDC) in Loni, Maharashtra, India, and thus beginning his path toward gaining his bachelors degree. He then received his certification from the Dental Board of California (DBC) in 2001. Then two years later, he opened his practice in Desert Hot Springs. Dr. Shodhan continued his dental education. Receiving certifications in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Keyur Shodhan works at the Shodhan Dentistry Desert Hot Springs office, Monday through Friday.

This place is exactly what I needed after my experience with Western Dental. The dentist here took the time to sit down with me and explain everything I needed to know about my mouth. He then made it very clear what my options were and what the consequences were for each one. I absolutely fell in love with this place. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helped me with all of my anxiety. I 100% reccomend you come to these guys if they take your insurance. They will take care of you and make you feel valued. Probably won't see any other dentist for awhile. Thank you guys.

I have a fear of the dentist, however, Dr. Shodhan put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He pulled my tooth and I didn't even feel.

My appointment is at 1pm. I only took x-rays at 1:45. Current time 2:15.. it's seems dead today ? Yet. Just sitting here !?! Another problem I have is that you require that pacients summit a screening and upload documentation prior to the appointment... Update 2:20 doctor comes in turns on tv, that I didn't even know worked.. said since I previously had a cleaning.. I need to wait and that I need to reschedule for x-rays for my wisdom teeth. .. LMAO. DAM I Fkn guess that DHS

I was debating on switching to a closer dentist to my job to make things easier it was a good thing I didn't, I forgot how friendly and nice the Shodan Dentistry staff is here. It is always a nice environment that is never crowded or overbooked and the staff here is always nice, I tend to be super nervous when it comes to the dentist and they really take care of you here.

One of the worst experiences with this dentist. He takes care of the patients that can pay and treats the rest of us like dirt. He refused to bill my insurance and demanded I pay him cash, really shady just find someone else to be your dentist.

My kids and I have been going to this dentist for years now. The front office staff has always been so nice, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Shodan is very honest; twice I thought I had a cavity or something and needed a filling or root canal and he said no, that the tooth was fine. It was pain from grinding apparently. He could have easily done the procedure, but he was very honest instead. The staff that helps with the procedures have been great with my kids. Thanks for everything!

This was a major job to be done with a bridge and an unexpected broken tooth as part of the repair. The result has been wonderful and I am pleased to have my smile back. I was well cared for over any discomfort and appreciated the thoughtful staff. I would recommend Dr. Shodhan to friends and family any time. My husband appreciates him and his staff as well.

I was at this office mid December 2018 hoping for extraction of infected wisdom tooth, #32. All they gave me was a bottle of amoxicillin, a bottle of opioids & a promise to get extraction within a few weeks. Thanks for the amoxicillin but Pain killers and the months of waiting weren't the solution. I had to drop my classes this semester because my tooth caused me so much pain and the infection of course came back because the they took forever. I ultimately went elsewhere for my service. I tried to post a picture of the only communication the office has made so far which was May 9th 2019. We'll see if the image is visible for those looking to make an informed decision prior to setting foot in this office. Hopefully I can save a few from this type of medical negligence. I'll later post my follow up calls to this office from December and January of when I called for status of surgery and copy of insurance denials sent after. The office didn't send X-rays for the work I needed done. So naturally w no X-rays insurance won't approve anything. They are not professional at all. I'm now worried about the quality of work the Dentist did on molar 18. I will formalize my grievance with the Dental board and inform the BBB.

If you have kids or need dental work yourself... Go here! I did not feel the needle that numbs! Dr. Shodhan has gifted hands and a great staff. Had a broken molar extraction and he was masterful.

They are very great there, I highly recommend going there, the staff is so sweet and make you feel very welcomed. The doctor is an awesome guy. Went there to get a tooth pulled and was literally done in 5 mins. Quick and easy. Thank you to the doctors and staff you guys are awesome!!!!! Very very satisfied!!!!

Do not go here--My wife spent thousands of dollars to have braces on for years and when he took them off my wife still has spaces we have gone back and even the front representatives where saying "why do you have a space"? "All that work for nothing"??Ummmmmmm the doctor obviously did not care about what he told us that would happen he promised NO SPACES he also put in a "permanent" retainer but he put it in incorrectly and space opened up thousands of dollars down the drain they only cared about the money the doctor looks at you as a $ sign it's very unfortunate so we are going to talk to the BBB and the medical board because he does not care. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Read the reviews on Yelp as well
