Dr. Milad Nourahmadi is at the forefront of dentistry in the Chicagoland area. He enjoys all fields of dentistry, including cosmetic and implant procedures. His practice model has been used under his supervision at three successful dental practices, ten general ones, and specialist practitioners.Dr. Nourahmadi received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Illinois and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Arts with honors in both philosophy and economics. This diverse knowledge base is what shapes his unique outlook. Dentistry is the field that combines the aesthetic requirements of art and the medical knowledge of science in order to create a positive impact in the lives of patients. Possessing a deep appreciation for both of these topics, Dr. Nourahmadi went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois and is currently licensed to practice in several states.His unique business background and passion for dentistry continually fuel his drive to help evolve current traditional dental business and office design models.

Dr. Nourahmadi is committed to spreading the message of oral health awareness and proper oral hygiene. He is a member of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the California Dental Association (CDA).

Dr. Miller is a new addition to the Shining Smiles LLC family. She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, but particularly loves cosmetic cases and improving patients confidence in their smiles. Her patients have vocalized their appreciation for her gentle touch and approachable nature. She ensures every patient is as comfortable as they can possibly be and empathizes with the common fear of the dentist. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied human nutrition. This background helps in educating patients on the correlation between their overall health and their oral health. Dr. Miller received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she was an active member in the Psi Omega fraternity and was one of a select few chosen to participate in a cosmetic study club led by a renowned cosmetic dentist.

In her free time, she enjoys running, Peloton workouts, spending time with friends and, of course, her infamous puppy, Calvin. She lives for the summer months and would rather be on a boat than anywhere else!

I like to think of myself as a people person, and because of that, I have been focusing my dentistry around people. I believe that whatever energy you put out there is the energy that you will be surrounded with, and because of that belief, I like to keep things light and as fun as possible. If Im not having fun doing something, Id rather not be doing it at all, so dont be surprised if theres a lot of laughing coming from wherever I am, even on the dental chair!

Dr. Kim graduated from the University of Iowa with honors in 2005, later receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kim and his wife recently moved back to Chicago, where they love exploring everything that Chicago has to offer. They are expecting a little one very soon.

Dr. Gee grew up in a suburb of Detroit and received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. During her time in dental school, she spent a lot of time volunteering to provide comprehensive dental care at the Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row in Los Angeles and was also a member of Psi Omega, Lucy Hobbs Dental Society, and the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Gee is also currently a member of the American Dental Association. Outside of her time practicing dentistry, Dr. Gee likes to cook, travel, and run. Dr. Gee is also fluent in Cantonese.

Dr Salman Javed, your Shining Smiles dentist in Wheaton, is a general dentist. He grew up in Naperville, Illinois and completed his undergraduate studies at Benedictine University, earning a Bachelors of Science. From there, he obtained a Masters of Arts in biomedical science at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, prior to graduating from Midwestern Universitys Dental School. He is also a certified Invisalign clear aligners provider.

Dr. Javeds philosophy in dentistry is fostering wonderful relationships with his patients and understanding their needs and concerns. Having built a relationship on trust and respect, he will advise them on the best possible treatment options for their dental needs.

In order to become the best practitioner that he can be, Dr. Javed continually seeks knowledge about the ever-changing field of dentistry. He is committed to taking continuing education courses and learning about the latest techniques and advancements in our field.

When he is not in the dental office, Dr. Javed enjoys spending time with his two children and wife. He enjoys traveling and admiring the art and architecture of different places. Some of his hobbies include being outdoors, drawing, listening to great music and watching good movies. Mostly, he likes to enjoy life!

I completed my first dental schooling at the University of Jordan in 2011. Striving for a more advanced education, I moved to the US and finished the advanced education general dentistry program from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have completed continuing education courses in dental lasers, Invisalign, implants, and many more.
