Dr. McGrogan and her husband, Jeff, have five wonderful children. When shes not creating beautiful smiles, they enjoy sharing in their childrens sports, soccer and ice hockey, and rooting on their local and favorite sports teams.
Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.

The best orthodontist office I have ever seen! I had a great experience and highly recommend this office and Dr. Rita McGrogan. The staff is helpful and the care they give to the patients is above and beyond. 5+ star for sure!

Dr McGrogan...WOW what a genuinely passionate lady about her profession. She explains things so well a child could understand it. She definitely is 1 of the best by far. The way she treats her patients and staff is exceptional. I was in tears when I left because I couldn't believe how gentle,understanding, and genuine she was. I wish I could give 10 stars because her and her staff are excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE I ask you JUST GO! You will see and leave happy.

I went to several other offices for opinions before we decided to go with shine orthodontics and Dr McGrogan. We felt very comfortable with the doctor and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr McGrogan was honest, down to earth and extremely easy to talk to. Our children have been in treatment for over six months and everything is going great. The difference in their self esteem is already noticeable and they enjoy going in for their visits. We highly recommend Shine Orhodontics!

The office staff is amazing! I hated the idea of getting braces late in my 20s, but it's something I always wanted fixed and they have made it the best experience! Kate is awesome and always makes my appointment fun (also she has a great singing voice, it's like my own personal serenading while she's doing her thing with my teeth lol)

Dr. McGrogan was kind enough to evaluate my old Invisalign retainers from another ortho practice and smooth out a crack in one of them that was driving me nuts. I appreciate her doing that because she saved me from having to purchase new retainers. Based on this experience, I feel like she'd be a really ethical and kind orthodontist.
