  • Dr. Justin Shiflett graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2016. He received his undergraduate degree from Malone University in Canton, OH, where he competed on the baseball team. He started all four years as an infielder, setting the career mark for sacrifices.

Since completing his dental education, Dr. Shiflett has taken additional courses to advance the services he can offer patients and stay up to date on the latest technologies. Shiflett Family Dental is proud to offer dental implants, Invisalign, root canal therapy, and other procedures.

Dr. Shiflett and his wife, Leah, are high school sweethearts and have been married for ten years. Dr. Shiflett is an avid fly fisherman and takes pleasure in chasing a variety of species with fly and conventional tackle. Leah works as a wellness director and enjoys working out in the fitness center, playing competitive volleyball, or visiting with friends and family in her free time.

Justin and Leah both have a love for the outdoors, and together they enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, running, kayaking, volleyball, and softball. They also love supporting local shops, restaurants, and sports teams. They absolutely adore their two cats (Alex and Jackson), as well as their French Bulldog, Trudy.

In her spare time, Keri enjoys hanging out with her nieces and nephews at the zoo or walking the family farm in search of arrowheads. She and her husband, Jeff, also love spoiling their two dogs, Oliver and Watson.

Brittney has been a dental assistant since 2015 and has recently completed her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary) training at Case Western Reserve University. With her hard work and dedication, she has gained the expertise necessary to perform more advanced dental procedures, including placing fillings.

Brittneys favorite part of her job is serving those with dental anxiety. Seeing patients overcome their fears to regain their smiles and confidence keeps her motivated day after day. The slower pace and extra time Shiflett Family Dental provides for each patient allows her to make as much of a positive impact as she can.

Brittney received her undergraduate degree from Shawnee State University, where she was an accomplished cross country athlete. Running still encompasses much of her free time, as she runs for personal enjoyment and serves as a track coach in Johnstown. She also enjoys collecting unique dish sets and checking out local eateries with friends and family.

Jillian has been working in the dental field for over 20 years in a variety of capacities. Over her career as a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant), she has developed a breadth of knowledge in orthodontics, oral surgery, and general dentistry. She excels at making patients feel comfortable, as well as explaining dental treatment and terminology in a way everyone can understand. Her favorite part about working at Shiflett Family Dental is the positive atmosphere and level of teamwork shared among the doctors and staff, allowing them to provide our patients with the highest level of dental care.

Katie earned her dental hygiene degree at Youngstown State University, graduating magna cum laude in 2019. Katie was turned onto the dental field by having great experiences as a child and strives to offer that same level of care to each of her patients. She takes great pride in getting to know who is in her chair and giving them all the tools they need to maintain a healthy mouth. Her favorite part about working at Shiflett Family Dental is sharing her workday with other health care professionals that are just as passionate about their role as she is.

Outside of the office, Katie spends time with her husband (Donato), their son (Ashton), and their two Mini Australian Shepherds (Scout and Ollie). She is quite creative and you can find her working on an art project, playing brass sound bowls, collecting crystals, meditating, or doing yoga.

Im the third generation to have exclusively went to Dr. Ralston. Now Dr. Shiflett has taken over the practice and the practice is just as it used to be, even down to the famous treasure chest I loved as a child. Hands down the best in Columbus and I will continue to go here for years to come.
