Dr. Harvey Sherman was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. He recieved his BA degree at Emory University in 1978 and graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1982. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Maryland State Dental Association, and Frederick County Dental Society.
Nicole Office Manager After living in Baltimore for 25 years Nicole she has returned to her hometown. She has 23 years experience in the health and wellness industry in a variety of specialties, including massage therapy, aesthetics, oral surgery, periodontics and dental insurance. Nicoles belief in transparency is paramount to fostering lasting relationships with the practices patients. She values providing treatment planning for patients and providing dental insurance estimates.
Nicole is crazy about her French bulldogs: Melvin and Mona. She spends much of her free time volunteering for a MD raptor rehabilitation center where she is under a Master Rehabilitator apprenticeship. Nicole also enjoys cooking international cuisine and baking confections.
Mary Registered Dental Hygienist Mary earned her A.A. degree in dental hygiene in 1985 from Allegany Community College and has been working with Dr. Sherman ever since. In order to provide her patients with the highest quality care possible, Mary has taken many continuing education courses. Her goal is to bring all her patients to the highest level of periodontal health possible.
Alicja Certified Dental Assistant Alicja joined Sherman Smiles in 2017, bringing with her 12 years experience including periodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. She enjoys being a part of the life-changing experience that our fabulous patients go through under the care of Dr. Sherman.
