Growing up in Longview, Dr. Darrel always knew he would return home to practice with his father after finishing his orthodontic residency in Houston. Joining Dr. Carroll Sherman in 2000, Dr. Darrel committed himself to the service of his patients, inside and outside of the office. He and his wife, Rachel, have three boys, Ben, Will and Sam.
Joining the practice in 2008, Dr. Briscoe has become engrained in the culture of East Texas after moving from Kansas.Dr. Briscoes father was a general dentist and is the one who created the passion that Dr. Briscoe has for improving the self-esteem of others by creating beautiful smiles.He and his wife, Holly, have 2 girls, Addison and Landrie.
Dr. Duren (right) started the practice in 1968. Dr. Sherman (left) joined in 1980 and together they formed one of the most successful orthodontic partnerships of their time. We thank them for their commitment to treating patients with respect and always being available to serve their needs.

I've been an Orthodontics patient of the Sherman's since 2004. Recently, I'd been experiencing a very sore ulcer on the inside of my lip. Eating would cause irritation and pain. April called me and told me they would be back in the Longview office Monday. I saw Dr. Darrel (Sherman) Tuesday. He examined my bite and found that a 'pinch point' was causing the problem. He ordered a steroid rinse to treat the ulcerated inner lip area. This is my note of sincere appreciation to Dr. Darrel and the friendly staff there at Sherman and Briscoe. So many good things to say about this practice!!! I have been in the dental field for many years working with them thru referrals and don't hesitate one bit to send everybody there way. My son just finished his braces and I couldn't be more happy!!! Thank you Dr Sherman, Dr Briscoe and of course your amazing girls!!!!

The girls there are so sweet and friendly. The doctors are absolutely amazing when it comes to explaining what they're putting on the braces and why just an overall amazing place to go for braces.

Best place hands down in East Texas area to go for Orthodontics and Braces. The staff is amazing and you never have to wait at appointments. I would highly recommend Sherman & Briscoe Orthodontics, they have a great team and are super to work with!!!

I am always impressed with all the staff at SBW. It's truly a family, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in for a consultation. I will recommend anyone to go there for treatment! My son and I have had braces and my daughter will as well, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Wow, what a great experience. Dr. Hansen explained everything thoroughly, and presented the best suited treatment plan. Now my teeth are on there way to looking great! Everyone was friendly and caring! They have two thumbs up in my book!
