Dr. Trent Burrup is excited to be living and practicing dentistry in Sheridan. Born and raised in northern Utah, Dr. Burrup completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah, where he graduated with High Honors in 2008. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, where he graduated with Honors. Dr. Burrup is a member of the Wyoming Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is eager to carry on the tradition of excellent dental care exemplified by Dr. Hal Quist.

Prior to completing his schooling, Dr. Burrup took the opportunity to serve a two year service mission for his church. He and his wife, Britni, have three busy and active children. Dr. Burrup and his family love spending time in the scenic outdoors that our Sheridan area has to offer. They love to camp, hike, and fish as a family. The Burrups are very active in their church. They are looking forward to living, working, and playing in Sheridan for many years to come.

Dr. Hal Quist is proud to be a native Wyomingite, born and raised in Casper, and a graduate of the University of Wyoming (BS with Honors, 1975). He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA in 1979. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Quist was selected to a prestigious Residency in Hospital Dentistry at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. After completing his residency, he was named to the staff of St. Joseph and Colorado General Hospitals and was appointed to the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. In 1982, Dr. Quist returned to Wyoming and established a private dental practice. He has especially enjoyed treating entire families and is proud to be caring for three generations of patients in the Sheridan area. In addition to providing dental health for his patients for 30 years, he has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Wyoming Dental Association, the Northeast Wyoming Dental Association (two terms as President), and the Sheridan College Dental Programs Advisory Board (one term as Chairman). In the Sheridan community, Dr. Quist has volunteered much time to youth sports, coaching YMCA soccer, Little League baseball, and traveling basketball. He has also served on several community boards, currently in his 26th year on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and in his 16th year on the Genesis Foundation Board of Directors.

Dr. Hal Quist has been married to his wife, Pat, for over 37 years. They have three grown children, all University of Wyoming graduates. He and his wife have enjoyed traveling and spending time in the Bighorn Mountains. As many of his patients can attest, Dr. Quist has a definite passion for fly fishing!
