We will first need to address any active periodontal disease. Gum recession that occurs as a result of mild periodontal disease can be treated fairly simply. Dr. Bryan is a Harrisonburg native and grew up in the Shenandoah Valley. After high school he earned a bachelor of science at Bridgewater College where he also captained the baseball team. After his time at Bridgewater, Bryan went on to earn his Masters degree at James Madison University in Immunology and continued on to dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.
During dental school he became intrigued by the inflammatory process around teeth and the immune response to oral bacteria and went on to earn his certificate in Periodontology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While in Nebraska, Bryan became very interested in guided implant surgery and the various applications of 3D printing in dentistry and continues to utilize this technology.

A few months ago these guys recommended that I get an implant removed from #31 as #30 was gone due to a failed root canal. Long story short: Got it removed yesterday after it loosened and became a hazard to my health (infection & interfered w biting). My bad, but I was a good patient and was rewarded w a discount. These guys are great & got me in right away.........

We had a great first visit about updating implants. I then scheduled an appt for a cleaning and had to wait two months. When my husband went for his cleaning Daniel did not let him have his cleaning she wanted to push for extensive x rays costing over 300. I called the day before to make sure he would get his cleaning and Dr. said yes he could do x rays at a later date. What a joke!

I have recently had 2 implants done by Dr Brian. He sat with me during the consultation and thoroughly explained my options and his recommendation. He is extremely knowledgable and also very caring in how he treats his patients. I was well prepared by the day of the procedure for what was to be done. It went very smoothly with no pain and very little discomfort during the initial healing process. I continue to return for follow ups to check the healing progress. Everyone at SVII makes their patients feel special and show true concern for their dental health. It is a very friendly, warm and caring environment. I highly recommend this practice.

Pinhole graft over 4 mm of recession gone. Within 3 days had to try to remember I had the procedure done to follow post op instructions. I really couldn't even tell I had had anything done aside from the recession being gone. Svii has a professional and caring staff and doctors. Dr. Steve preformed my procedure in less than 30 minutes and I felt nothing. I would highly recommend Dr. Steve Saunders for all dental needs. I have worked in the dental field for over 20 years . Now I know why all my patients we have referred over the years are so happy with the treatment they receive from this practice. This was my first experience with treatment at this practice and I would never get anything done anywhere else that Dr. Steve or Dr. Vic can do for me.

I had my "free consultation" in October 2018. I was so impressed by the kindness, thoroughness, and time spent during the consultation. I thought it was just going to be the Dr and myself sitting and talking, answering questions. I was baffled as to why they wanted my insurance info. Two months later I received a letter from my insurance company showing what they paid from my consultation. Then another month later I get a bill from SVII. .......for my free consultation!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kindness draws you in, they inform you of the hefty prices, then they charge you for the FREE consultation!!!!!!! SMH!
