Dr. Aaron Quitmeyer is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota as a scholar athlete. While earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with an emphasis in Immunology and Cellular Biology, he played varsity football, being twice selected as team captain and first team all-conference.
Dr. Quitmeyer continued his education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and graduated with honors. He was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Quitmeyer earned a commission in the United States Navy and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Okinawa, Japan, were he practiced general dentistry for two years. Dr. Quitmeyer was selected into the highly competitive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program and graduated from the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia where he served as chief resident.
Following residency, Dr. Quitmeyer served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon onboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). He then became the Associate Program Director of the prestigious National Capital Consortium (NCC) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, where he taught OMS residents the full range of surgical procedures of the specialty.

I had a molar that completely fell apart. I saw my dentist about it and she referred me to Shenandoah oral. I called them today Wed Sept 21 and got an immediate appointment. The people were friendly and were just great. I was surprised that they had my exray from my primary dentist and the doctor explained he'd take care of the tooth for me.. He did an outstanding job. Didn't feel a thing. Well worth the call. Will use them again if any extractions have to be done. HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. Quitmeyer and his team have something special going on here. I had three wisdom teeth extracted and I was anxious about going under sedation. The procedure was over before I knew it and the swelling went down within the day. I just had a great night's sleep after the first day. Did not expect that. Did not expect to feel so good after yesterday. I cannot believe how smooth this has been. 100% recommend choosing this team for your needs. AMAZING!!!

I'm an extremely anxious dental patient. Not so much anymore. The team at Shenandoah was perfect! Highly recommended to anyone but especially those with dental phobia like me.

Whille the results of Dr Quitmeyer's findings were unfortunate, he was very kind and reassuring. I felt he truly cared for my next steps and asked me to keep him updated and to let him know if I needed anything... I did have to call back to have them send through a referral for me, which Chris took care of ASAP. Top Tier humans working here.

Great service - usually go to Costa Rica for implants (save 75%) but covid kept me here. Nice facility, professionally done implants. Would definately recommend if you cant travel.

Great experience with a tooth extraction and implant. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful and show concern for your comfort. Dr. Quitmeyer is excellent. I only needed to take 2 doses of Tylenol yesterday - no pain today at all even though the extraction/implant was just yesterday.
