Dr. Pino has been in General Dentistry since 1999. He graduated from University of San Martin de Porres in Lima-Per, worked with clinics and hospitals, and served as the head of Perus National Oral Health Program. He did his Residency at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine from 2008 2012, and has been working in the Shenandoah Valley since 2014. Dr. Pinos favorite part of his job is seeing patients come back with a smile on their face and treating emergencies that allow patients to go home with pain relief. He also loves working with kids, endodontics, oral surgery, and esthetics.

Born and raised in a small town in Ecuador, Dr. Arcos received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2011. She completed a year of residency in General Dentistry where she provided care to underserved communities in rural areas of her hometown. In order to further her professional career, Dr. Arcos moved to the United States, where she completed her post-doctoral training in a rigorous 2 year, Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Arcos has a passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. She strongly believes that continuing her education and staying up to date with the latest dental technology and techniques is the best way to provide excellent dental care to her patients. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, where she is working towards her AGD Fellowship Award, and is also certified in the use of dental lasers. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Arcos enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and husband, who is also a dentist. She is also passionate about giving back to her community. Dr. Arcos has participated in numerous mission trips to different countries, including Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras.

Clare is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing for over 30 years, and is certified in Integrated Behavioral Health. She values the clinical work she does with clients of all ages, believes in a strength based perspective, and emphasizes a humanistic approach. Clares specialty: Teaching clients techniques and skills to help them manage and navigate symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety and trauma.

Elisabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Radford University. Elisabeth is passionate about providing a safe place for her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. She has extensive experience in social services, incarceration, mental health skill building, case management and crisis intervention. Elisabeth enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Mattie graduated from Broadway High School as a MTC in 2017 with her Dental Assisting certification. Mattie said she wanted to become a Dental Assistant to 'help people achieve good oral hygiene and help them gain confidence in their smile!' Mattie and her Mother just moved to Strasburg and in her free time, she enjoys lounging around with her dog, Leo, and LOVES putting puzzles together.

Becky has been with the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic since August of 2016. She graduated with a diploma in Dental Assisting in 2011 from Massanutten Technical Center in Harrisonburg. Becky loves her work at the clinic because she gets to help her patients to smile again. When she isnt at work, Becky likes to work on crafts and spend time with her family.

Peggy attended Triplett Tech and Shenandoah University, before starting work at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in 1977. Since then, Peggy has worked a variety of healthcare jobs throughout the Shenandoah Valley. She started the Every Womans Life program at the Health Department and has continued it at Shenandoah Community Health Clinic for the past 12 years. Peggys favorite part of working at the Clinic is helping women who otherwise might not be able to have their healthcare needs met. Outside of the Clinic, Peggys hobbies include painting, embroidery, crocheting, quilting, and caring for her blackberries.

Natalie has worked in healthcare for 20 years and has a degree in respiratory therapy. She has spent a majority of her healthcare career in a clinical role employed in hospitals and most recently as an allergy technician administering allergy tests, immunotherapy treatment, and educating patients. She likes working at SCHC for many reasons including getting to know the patients, helping the community, and making sure everyone receives quality healthcare regardless of insurance status or income. When not at work, Natalie likes to spend time with her wife, son, and two dogs.

Ashten attended Massanutten Technical School where she received her Dental Assisting and Radiology certification. She has been a certified dental assistant for over a year. She loves working at the Clinic because of the people she is able to help and the staff that she gets to work with. Outside of work you can find Ashten playing with her husky, Zoe, or having fun with her family and friends.

Brenda is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience. Her nursing career began at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, but she found her calling as a Nurse Case Manager at the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic, where she began working in 2003. In 2012, Brenda left to work at Winchester Medical Center, but returned home to the Clinic in 2019. Brendas favorite thing about working at the Clinic is getting to know her patients. She views the daily challenges at the clinic as opportunities to see improvements in the health and lives of her patients. In her free time Brenda enjoys spending time with her family and going to the movies.

Gensis joined the SCHC in March. She enjoys her work at the clinic because she likes helping people and making a difference in their lives, On her days off, Genesis likes to spend time with her family and friends. When the weather permits, she likes to go hiking with her boyfriend and 2 dogs, as well as go camping/ fishing.

Kim has worked in the healthcare field for 13 years, first in physical therapy for 10 years as a PTA, then as a medical receptionist. She enjoys her work at the clinic because it is very fulfilling and rewarding knowing she helped make a difference for a family or individual that otherwise may not have been able to get the medical care they need. Outside of the clinic, Kim loves to spend time with her family, work on DIY projects and read James Patterson suspense novels.

Amanda is the Director of Operations at the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic, where she has been a part of the team for over 2 years. Amanda has worked in healthcare management for 20 years and has always had a passion for managing costs and improving the quality of services provided to patients. As a local, born and raised in Shenandoah County, she loves being able to serve her neighbors and community. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family and boxer 'Molly.

Ashley is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where she received her bachelors degree in Mass Communications and Social Media. She is the newest addition to the team and looks forward to serving and seeing the impact of the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic on the community. In her free time, Ashley enjoys photography, reading, and playing with her dogs.

Rebecca has over 40 years of administrative experience, with the last 12 of those years devoted to the mental health field. She also spent time at a rape crisis center and with a group for special needs adults and children. She recently began working at the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic, where she has taken on administrative supporting roles in all three of our programs - medical, dental and, primarily, counseling. Rebeccas favorite thing about working at the Clinic is being in a position to help people help themselves. In her free time, Rebecca loves spending time with her family, camping, beach vacations, and music.

Laura has served as the Business Manager of Shenandoah Community Health Clinic for 11 years. She is responsible for the day to day financial operations and is always working to improve and implement policies and controls. She enjoys being part of an extraordinary team who are working hard to support the mission of bridging the gaps in healthcare. When Laura is off duty, she enjoys scouting out new areas while traveling with her husband and being Mimi to three amazing grandchildren.

They scheduled an appt for me for fillings...I arrived and they said I wasn't on schedule. I showed them the sticker they wrote out and they still wouldn't accept my appt. Stay away. Not a good business

Can't get no one at the front desk to answer the phone.. But the doctor and nurses are awesome.

I love it here! The receptionist is very nice and friendly. The dentist is absolutely great! He along with all the staff really care about your needs.
