'Thank you Dr. Clark Dental Office employees! Today 's experience was amazing. I have been taking my child to another dentist for the past several years only to recieve mediocre service, experience extremely long wait times, and unclear communication. Today, we were in and out in an hour (for everything and we were NEW!), had great customer service, and everything was clearly explained. I felt as if the staff actually cared about my child 's dental needs. The staff talked to my child as if she was actually a person rather than just an inconvenience. Thank you again! We will definitely continue coming here until she 's referred to the general dentist!'

'The staff was very caring and compassionate. They did a spectacular job going step by step with my son. They have a unique way of engaging with the children and explaining the different tools and procedures so he was never scared, they actually had him laughing quite a bit! They 're the best!'

I love this childrens dentist. They have so much patience with the children and talk to them the entire time while cleaning their teeth and even x-rays. They make sure the child is relaxed and never afraid. - Briana

As a baby, we took my son here to get a lip tie exam. I was assured by Dr. Shelley that he did not have a lip / tongue tie regardless of my doubts of the diagnosis. We paid the consult fee and that was that. Now 6 months later I get a confirmation that he 100% has a lip tie from 2 other sources including his routine dentist. I called Shelley's office to see if they'd check him again. The office staff told me that they would have to charge me a whole additional consult fee + surgery costs if needed. I have no issue paying for the surgery but because we are self pay I don't appreciate the lack of effort to make the situation right . The consult took literally 3 minutes , I don't see how that would be a hard situation to correct as I was given a false diagnosis. The procedure is much harder as they get older & we struggled through him not taking a bottle well just trusting she was right and he didn't have any issues there. If you think your baby has a lip tie I beg you to look elsewhere to find with someone who has more knowledge on ties & a business with a moral compass to make things right to families in stressful situations. We will not be returning customers.

OUTSTANDING!!! My children have been coming here for at least 8 years. The staff is patience, caring and they listen to your concerns. My children have never had a bad experience here. The dentist, and techs are all great. The staff know what they are doing. I can't believe the negative reviews even as a patient I've observed and I see that the service here is great across the board they treat everyone with care.

UPDATE - 1 star: I found another dentist for my son that I didn't like, so I decided to go back to Dr. Lindsey. She was really the only good thing about the office. When I called to schedule an appointment, they told me that my son was "dismissed from the practice." The girl on the phone told me that meant they could no longer meet my needs and they sent me a letter (that I never received). It's strange though how the timing of that letter came right after I posted my initial review. Shameful. INITIAL REVIEW - 3 stars: Today was my son's second visit to the Cedar Hill office. The first visit went... ok (he was only 2.5, now 3) and this one didn't go much better. We had an 8 am appointment, but weren't called back until 8:08. The hygienist, Angela, came in and talked to him like he had a diminished metal capacity and was incapable of understanding any words that weren't in a high pitched voice. She immediately tried to direct him to watch television and I asked her to turn it off. She asked about his diet. I said he drank water 99% of the time and had a juice box twice a month with his dad. She said, "what about milk" No milk. She said, "what about soy milk or..." Nope. Apparently saying he only drinks water wasn't clear enough. He was understandably nervous during the cleaning and any time I tried to talk to him to calm him, she talked over me. I finally told her to stop talking so that I could get him to cooperate. I calmed him down and she was able to finish. We sat there for an extra 12 minutes waiting for the dentist to examine him. The dentist (Dr. Lindsey) is great, very informative and helpful, but I wish they would be more prompt. Kids need to get to school and parents need to get to work. They didn't ask me to schedule a follow up appointment, though I'm not sure I would have anyway.

Worst pediatric dental office ever! Dr. Shelly is hardly ever in office and when she is, patients do not receive the attention and care that is paid for! Dr. Shelly tends to diagnose a lot of treatment even when not necessary! Be sure to get a second opinion before proceeding with any treatment at either of her offices! 9 times out of 10 the second opinion will tell you that your child doesn't need what Dr. Shelly suggested! I do NOT recommend coming to this office if you want to receive the best care for you child!

We continue to drive all the way to Cedar Hill from Rockwall just to have my sons dental work done. They are understanding and so patient with my son - plus he likes playing the Xbox games before his appointment. My son has had an extraction done, and even after that experience, he doesn't need any additional persuading to go back because of their friendly staff!! (He also loves getting a token to get a prize after the visit too) THANK YOU!!!!!

Do NOT go here if you are on any type of schedule. We always book early appointments so that the office will not be behind schedule. This morning, we had an 8:30am and a 8:40am for my son and daughter. The 8:30am appointment became a 9am appointment because they were so far behind schedule. How in the world can you be 30 minutes behind schedule 30 minutes after opening? This is a regular thing at this office. We've actually got up left before because of their tardiness.

My kids did not see Shelly Clark. They saw Dr. Lindsay. She was ok but not very through and did not have great bedside manner. Felt very rushed and she did not introduce herself to us and we were new patients. She seems very "fake."

Today was the second appointment with Dr. Lepore. She was very kind and quick while working with my busy 4 year old. We have a few more sessions with more fillings to be done and I'm so happy we found this office where everyone is so kind and sweet with my son. My son loves the fact that he gets "coins" to use the prize machine when he's done with his visit. I would have to disagree with what people are saying in the reviews about cost... I feel with the other estimate we got from a general dentist, this pediatric dental office is very comparable in price for the same work.

This place is a hit and miss. Some days the front desk is kind and other days not so friendly. Each time your child is due for a visit your expected to fill out the same paper work as though your child is a new patient while your trying to inspect the dental work of the staff. You don't receive adequate time to Complete it. Also, they tend to lose or misplace your insurance coverage or state that's not what was written in the system. You only can deal with so much. I'm glad there are other options for clinics locally. My children will not step into another Shelly Clark Dental services !!
