Dr. Sheldon Lindenfeld, DDS was born and raised in New York. He received his dental degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and completed his general dental residency at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. He received his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his BA from Yeshiva University.
Dr. Lindenfeld is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontics, the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. He has been on the faculties of Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and Brooklyn Hospital. He is also a past-President of the Bronx County Dental Society and lectures on a variety of topics.
Dr. Lindenfeld has practiced periodontics and implantology in the Bronx-Riverdale community since 1985. The philosophy of the practice is to present to the patient multiple potential solutions to their problem and allow the patient to be educated in choosing the treatment plan that best fits their situation.
