It is so good to be home! Born and raised in Memphis, Shelby attended St. Louis Catholic School and St. Agnes Academy. After high school, Dr. Blaylock played four years of NCAA Division I Volleyball at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Go Skyhawks! She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Business Administration. After moving back home to Germantown, Dr. Blaylock attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry and graduated with the Dentsply Removable Prosthodontics Award. She has been practicing in Olive Branch, MS for the last 4 years. When not caring for her patients, she loves spending time with her husband, Mike, their two young sons, Max and Grant, and their dog, Brinkley. She loves being active and spending their summers on the lake in Pickwick!

Im so excited to be part of the team at Shelby Dental. Dr. Blaylock and I have worked together for several years and are very enthusiastic about bringing top notch dentistry to East Memphis and all of Shelby County. Ive been married to my awesome husband, Chris, since 2010. I have 3 wonderful sons and 2 beautiful daughter in laws! We stay very busy going to all things sports related, but our favorite is watching my youngest son play college baseball! I am so excited about meeting our patients, old and new, and helping with all of your treatment, insurance, and financial questions! I look forward to meeting you soon!
Hi! My name is Chelsey and Im the dental hygienist here at Shelby Dental! I work hard on always making sure that my patient feels calm and comfortable during their cleaning. I will work with you to educate you on what is best for your particular needs when it comes to achieving the best results with your oral care. I love to answer any questions my patients may have whether its about a new product on the market or tips and tricks to getting a healthier smile. Ive lived about 40 minutes outside of Memphis my entire life and have always enjoyed the country side. In my free time I love spending time with my dogs, family and friends as well as crafting. I was worried about coming in as a new patient and all of the hassle that comes with being a new patient, but the team here made it absolutely seamless, fast, and super easy. I also loved everyone in the office, they were super nice and welcoming (and funny). Dr. Blaylock quickly noticed a couple cavities that my previous dentist hadn't seen/overlooked and made the filling process also super quick and easy. Great practice that I will be referring all of my friends and family to!

After my Dentist of 25+ years retired I am so thankful I found Shelby Dental! I absolutely love the staff, atmosphere, location and overall care that I have received. Shelby Dental is the best! I love Dr.Blaylock. She has been my dentist for about 5 years now.Her staff is great too! Sometimes I just call to talk to Dana even when it's not for an appointment! It's hard to find a clinic where everyone in the clinic is nice. Shelby Dental is the place to be!

I had an unexpected need for time-sensitive dental care recently and a colleague recommended this practice. They fit me in at the last minute, took great care of me, and were all very friendly and kind. They made billing and payment easy as well. The office is cute and comfortable, and they have air purifiers in every room. Thank you to the whole team! I'll be back with the rest of the family.
