Dr. Eliot Tokowitz graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1983. He then continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, graduating in 1987, and he has been practicing in the Chicago area since then more than 30 years of dentistry in Chicago! He completed a two-year residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and then opened Sheffield Square Dental Care in 1989. Dr. Tokowitz continues his education constantly. He received advanced training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and he is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and the Alpha Omega International Dentistry Fraternity (AO). Dr. Tokowitz strives to help patients achieve excellent dental health so they can feel good about going to the dentist. He also endeavors to help those who desire or need help with their appearance so they can smile with confidence. When he is not in the office, Dr. Tokowitz enjoys golf, swimming, yoga, and hiking.
Christine's love affair with teeth began years ago as a little girl in her birth country of Zimbabwe. As a 16 year veteran in the dental field, she takes pride in every aspect of patient education and service delivery. When she's not talking about all things dental, Christine loves to read and write children's books.

I love this dental practice. Dr. Tokowitz is a master in this field. I have had major dental work during my life and no one comes close to the care and expertise I've experienced at Sheffield Square Dental Care. I would recommend anyone whether it's for a simple (but very thorough!) cleaning to something much more complicated. If you hate pain, he understands. If you're terrified, he gets it. If you want to improve your dental "look," he will get you there. And the staff is great. They are friendly, warm, and good at what they do. Also, the practice is small but mighty. Warm, welcoming, patient-focused--that is what you will get.

Every time I go to Dr. T's office, I feel looked after and cared for. They made sure I got the treatment I needed when I called the first time in a terrible state, due to an infected tooth, and I've been with them for years since.

Doctor T is a modern day dental artist who changed my life almost 20 years ago. I've been a patient ever since. For a truly great dentist, Sheffield Square and Dr T are unbeatable. The staff is amazing! The care they provide is always exceptional!

Possibly the best dentist experience I've ever had. There was no wait, everyone was kind and everything was thoroughly explained to me in a way I don't think I've experienced anywhere else. Christine, the office manager, was particularly helpful when I forgot to have my X-rays from my previous dentist sent over, the hygienist was one of the nicest I've ever met and of course Dr. Tokowitz and the dental assistant were great as well. I had just tried a different dentist who I felt was a bit rude and salesy, so it was really refreshing to meet this team, who really just seemed to work like a well-oiled machine, with seamless handoffs from one person to another.

Very personable staff and an excellent dentist. I have been going to Dr. Tokowitz's dental office for the past 7 years and I have always received excellent dental care. He is always available and super helpful. The staff at the dental office has always helped me find my desired visit day in a short notice. Would highly recommend him!
