ProfessionalDr. Sheehy graduated from Georgetown University Dental School in 1980 and opened his dental office in San Mateo in August of that year. His commitment to dentistry is life long and passionate.
He loves the work and the people. Dr. Sheehy attends continuing education in the fields of TMJ pain relief treatment, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, dentures and partial dentures, implants, endodontics (root canal), periodontics (gums) safety and sterilization, and all phases of general dentistry. Son, Joey, is 38 years old, is a legislative aid for a congresswoman from Los Angeles. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have 2 children. They live and work in Washington DC. Son, Jack, is 36 years old and teaches math in San Francisco.

Besides being a calm, confident, compassionate dentist, he knew how to produce a splint that solved my morning wake-up headaches makes Dr. Sheehy worth his weight in gold. I cannot say enough good things too about his knowledge base and his willingness to respond to a painful dental problem. He will make you a partner in learning about your dental care.
