Such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere! Everyone is so knowledgeable and sweet. I've gotten my questions answered here where I couldn't get them anywhere else. It can be very challenging to find an honest dentist - glad I found Shawnsheen dental!

Excellent experience. My hygienist was so good and gentle I didn't believe her when she said my cleaning was done. Dr Bustillo is always great, she explains and shows you everything she is going to do, so you know what to expect.

They tried saying I had periodontal disease without ever actually doing any of the diagnostic tests for it, and based it solely on x-rays. They recommended I get a scaling and root planing and had me pre-pay. I felt off about the whole experience and did some research and realized they were either being way too aggressive in treatment or just trying to make a quick buck. I got a 2nd opinion and that periodontal specialist confirmed my suspicions and told me my teeth were in great shape and that I did not need any scaling and root planing. Instead of sending me a check for the refund they made me come in to pick up the check. When I went in to pick up the check they asked what they could of done differently. I explained my reasons for leaving and they tried to blame it on the temp dental hygienist that did my cleaning. The dental hygienist was great and had nothing to do with this diagnosis. The doctor "diagnosed" me before I even had the cleaning done. I would stay clear, or at least double check every recommendation they give, because they could just be out for money. At least the staff was very nice and friendly. Was tempted to give 2 stars just because of how nice everyone was.

I think the world of this dental practice. I opted to stay with them after we moved further away, because of the professionalism and warmth of the staff. I recommend them highly.

My experience with Shawsheen Family Dental has always been a pleasure. Dr Bustillo and Staff are very caring and loving prople. Dr Bustillo is very knowledgeable and very professional. Dr has been really great to clearly stating the next steps for my teeth to stay white and healthy. Its superb treatment and caring. My teeth look great after a cleaning well done. If you are anxious or otherwise nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place for you!!! As soon as you walk in Angie and Brenda happily and speedily check you in. In no time I was in the chair getting my X-rays done in such a gentle manner. Melissa and Carla are both amazing, kind and personable. I did not feel shamed or judged for all the work I need done, just supported and cared for. Overall such a positive experience , I am so happy to have found this place!!!!!

This is actually my second review, second five star review I should say... yesterday Dr. Bustillo and Donna put in 2 crowns for me. It was almost like being at a spa, a very Zen-like experience. They are so professional as well as caring. They gave me the crowns but it is the two of them who deserve the crowns

Eileen is excellent! Very thorough and explains everything. Always makes sure you are comfortable. So happy we found this practice for our family.
