Dr. Jennifer Koonce is a 2002 graduate of Mooreland High School. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Biology in 2006. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Koonce was a member and President of Golden Key International Honour Society and the Pre-Med Health Professions club. She also created and served as committee leader for Golden Keys Assisted Living Visitation program where students devote a portion of their week spending time giving back to the community.
Dr. Koonce attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013. While in dental school, Dr. Koonce served as Second Delegate and President of the American Student Dental Association Oklahoma Chapter and received the Award of Excellence and District Delegate of the Year. She also enjoyed participating in intramural sports, particularly the Amalgamators football team.
Dr. Koonce chose Shawnee as a place to plant roots for her family because of the wonderful community atmosphere that Shawnee has to offer. She enjoys getting to know her neighbors and helping with the neighborhood block parties. Dr. Koonce is a past president of Shawnees Business Referral Network and takes pleasure in getting to know other local business owners and getting involved within the community.
Dr. Koonce is married to Greg Thompson and has three beautiful daughters: Adelyn, Kendall, and Cora. When she is not doing dentistry, Dr Koonce enjoys playing with her children, attending LifeChurch and spending time with family and friends.'
Dr. Brandon Loeser grew up on a farm outside of Byron, Oklahoma, where his family raised cattle and grew alfalfa hay. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2009 and from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2015.
As one of their students at the College of Dentistry, Drs. Scot and Nan Shadid handpicked Dr. Loeser to succeed them -- along with Dr. Koonce -- at Shawnee Dental. One of the reasons Dr. Loeser became a dentist was to build personal, ongoing relationships with individuals and families for years to come.

Everyone in this office is so kind and respectful. It took me 9 years in Shawnee to find a caring and compassionate dentist. The staff are beyond amazing, they make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. They take the time to explain everything to you, from the procedure to the insurance information. I'm so happy my family has found this practice!

My family just started using Shawnee Dental for our dental needs. The doctors and staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and to ensure you have a positive experience. I am a lot like some people who white knuckle fear the dentist. I forced myself to be an adult 4-5 years ago and they are amazing. I have several family members converted. They are kind, non judgmental.They help the fear, they are the kindest group and I will continue to go and always recommend.

Called multiple times to be a new patient, I was told that someone in the insurance billing department with this dentist office would call me back with an overview of my dental benefits and eligibility. As the receptionist was not able to answer our questions or provide information. It's been probably two months with not a single returned call. The receptionist did say if the lady did not call us back which she insured she would call us, then we need to call our insurance company ourselves to check if were eligible for their clinic.
