Dr. Rusk graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1967. Shortly after graduation he and his family decided to settle here in Selma, CA. He opened up his practice and has spent many years doing the things that are most important to him- helping and serving others. Through the years he has been fortunate to meet and develop many relationships with patients that have become like family to him. This is part of the reason he continues to practice dentistry for so many years! When he is not in the office he spends countless hours at home working on another passion- farming. He and his wife Dora have many grandkids and great-grandkids that also keep them going.
Dr. Shawn graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2001. It was an easy decision to move back home after dental school due to many family members in the area and his father having an established dental practice. Choosing to work with his father was an easy choice due to the shared passion of both to serve their patients. In January of 2007, Dr. Shawn took over the leadership of the practice so that Dr. Glenn did not have to worry about the day-to-day operations anymore. Dr. Shawn enjoys meeting his patients and getting to know each one on a personal level. When he is not in the office he enjoys to spend time with his family. His wife Christine works in the office and they have three wonderful children together- Blaine, Chase and Paige. Together they spend much time camping, motorcycling and watching baseball.

Great DDS and a very nice person. Always treats you like a important person & makes you feel like a friend. Staff are friendly & well trained. If I had to sum it up in only a few words it would " Honesty& integrity with kindness " No bill padding ever.

My family and I have been customers here for over 22 years. They are always courteous, timely, and thorough. Our family doesn't have too many cavities, and we are good at making our 6 month visits. The team is focused on preventive dentistry and it works.

My entire family loves going to Dr. Rusk. Dental visits can always be a bit unnerving but Dr. Rusk and his amazing staff do a great job putting my entire family at ease. In the past, I dreaded going to the dentist until I started seeing Dr. Rusk and now I don't mind going twice a year. Great dentist and a great staff! Well worth the nearly one hour we drive for our appointments.

Dr. Shawn Rusk is very warm and welcoming. He is is very caring and thorough with his work. Naturally I get a little nervous during my visit but he has always been very patient with me and always makes me feel at ease.

I was afraid to go to see a dentist for years after a bad experience, but after going to see Dr Rusk I am no longer afraid of the dentist. I actually look forward to going. Oh my stars! As one of my friends would say. Dr. Rusk Jr. is the best dentist I have had in several years since I came to Fresno 23 years ago. My entire family doesn't mind traveling 40 minutes to Selma to see Dr. Rusk. He is gentle, honest, caring, funny, and has a great personality. Everyone in his office is professional and attentive. They listen to your needs. I highly recommend this dental practice. It's worth the trip.

Very friendly, very caring. Got me in quickly when i had pain. Trust the integrity and willingness to work with you making decisions on work that needed to be done or was optional. Clean & friendly. Been going for years . Definitely go if you want a family owned local business approach, friendly staff and high integrity. Pricing is very fair . No upsales , i repeat NO UPSALES !! None. Only what you need or want.

I have a huge fear (most do) of the dentist. I was referred by my sister and mom. I went and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing staff and Dr Rusk. Now I am not as nervous about going! If your looking for a great dentist check these guys out. There office doesn't even have that dentist smell and the dental chairs have massagers. Wow!
