When our patients are ready to start treatment, Julie answers any questions they may have about how the treatment process works, what they can expect along the way, and how to schedule each step. Julie loves the relaxed, flexible environment at our practice and enjoys the truly priceless experience of our patients seeing their new smiles for the first time. Julie and her husband, Doug, have two beautiful daughters named Emma and Ava. The entire family spends a lot of time boating, fishing and relaxing at Missouri's beautiful lakes.
Stacey oversees all our office operations including human resources, scheduling, billing, and collections. When it comes to patients, Stacey mainly works with the financial side of their treatment. Whether a patient has a health savings plan, cafeteria plan, or is paying out of their own pocket, Stacey will help them find a flexible payment option which can simplify their orthodontic process. Stacey has two children, Addison and Jack, whom she loves spending time with. She also enjoys reading, playing tennis, and going to the movies. Stacey is an active member and elder of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, a former Board member of the Springfield Ballet, Missouri Victim's Center, and Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and a graduate member of Leadership Springfield.
Lori has worked alongside Dr. Sharp since 1998. She enjoys helping patients improve their self-confidence through their smile. Lori is very passionate about the services she provides as she herself was a patient of Dr. Sharp. She experienced firsthand his dedication to improving a patient's self-image. Lori enjoys building relationships with patients and their families and watching them get excited about their smile transformation. She places braces, explains and provides home care instructions, tries to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible and trains new team members. She lives with her husband Andy and their cat and dog. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and travelling with her husband. Lori stays very active by running and doing hot yoga.
Tracey loves working in the dental field; its what shes been happily doing since 1985. Joining our team in 2001, Tracey assists the doctors with patient care and enjoys talking with, explaining, and comforting patients during their visits, as well as getting to know them on an individual basis. Tracey has two beautiful children, two dogs, and two cats. She loves to be outside and enjoys making jewelry as a hobby. As a native of Springfield, Tracey plans on staying right here in the wonderful Ozarks as long as she possibly can!
Sara graduated from the OTC Dental Assisting Program in 2005 and is a Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions. She joined our team in 2017. She brings a lot of experience to our team. Sara has worked in both general and pediatric dentistry but has always favored Orthodontics. She has expertise in Invisalign, bracket placement, adjustments and explaining home care instruction and duties include bracket placement, adjustments and explaining home care instructions. She enjoys getting to know our patients and building a relationship with them. During her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, son and dogs and chickens. She also loves crafting and cooking.
Rebecca works in our lab where she fabricates most of our patients appliances, including retainers, expanders, and holding arches. She enjoys all the hands-on aspects of her job, especially knowing that the appliances she creates will help our patients achieve and maintain their wonderful smiles.
As one of our Orthodontic Assistants, Skylars duties include delivering Invisalign trays to patients, assisting with routine braces visits, and explaining home care instructions. She loves building relationships with patients and guiding them on their Sharp Smile journey! Outside of Sharp Orthodontics, she loves spending time with her husband, son and three dogs (Opie, Oakley, and Susie). You can often find her working out, going to sporting events, traveling, and enjoying a range of outdoor activities.
Dr. Frank Sharp is a specialist in orthodontics practicing in Springfield and Branson, Missouri. After graduating from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1993 and Saint Louis University orthodontic program in 1995, he became board certified in 2008. He lectures at Saint Louis University, various study clubs and schools on orthodontic-specific topics. Dr. Sharp puts his patients first with quality treatment, appliances, patient safety, and technology. He is a key opinion leader with Dental Monitoring and employs this technology on all comprehensive cases including Invisalign and traditional braces. Additionally, he lectures and leads educational podcasts for the company.
Dr. Sharp and his wife of 26 years, Cynthia, have two college-aged children, Meredith and John. In his spare time, he enjoys family, golfing, fishing, and traveling. He is an avid Missouri State Bears, Greenwood Blue Jays, and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and he supports many local organizations including Boy and Girls Club, Just for Kicks, and many youth athletic programs.
