I was recommended this practice by Veronica at the Sierra view breastfeeding resource center because ent son had a lip tie and I'm so glad that I was. Dr. Shuler is very sweet and patient. And seeing how well he worked with my newborn, I decided to bring my almost two year old to him as well. She is a very shy girl and they made her feel very comfortable. She didn't like the exam as it was her first time at a dentist but he and his staff did their best to gain her trust. I love it here! Thank you Sharktooth!!

I had the best time at Shark Tooth! My kids had the best time! Dr. Shuler is a very conservative dentist, only does what's needed and is a wait and see type of doctor! Can't wait till my kids go back!

These people have no sympathy for working parents. They made my son miss an appointment because my mom took him. Instead of calling me to get a verbal or asking me to fax a note over they turned them away. Second time I was unable to leave my job as planned and I called them and offered to pay the cash price of the visit in order to show that I did not mean to miss it. They refused and told me my son needed a new dentist. My children were both patients there. So they told me my older son couldn't go back. Moving forward I received a certified letter telling me neither one of my sons was allowed back and needed to find new dentists. What did my second son do that caused him to be kicked out as well? I understand the need to be punctual and not to miss due to the fact that it is a high volume office, but these instances were out of my control and I tried to fix it. The office staff was rude and so was the manager. My children had been patients there for over 2 years. It is a shame that they would treat people this way.

Super upset! My son has been coming here for 2 years and his appointment got rescheduled without my consent after the typical 6 month waiting period... now we missed his 6 month check up and have to wait another 3 months for our next appointment

I just want to say that the doctor the staff the receptionist Francis amazing people they take care of all your needs they're very detail-oriented I like how they make my son feel I also want to say thank you to the dentist and his staff for helping me and encouraging my son to be able to use toothpaste because brushing his teeth he would only use water and thanks to the doctor he finally is brushing his teeth with toothpaste so I just want to say thank you and God bless all of your stuff

Shark Tooth Sedation Dentistry has been helping my children for years and I wouldn't change it for the world. The staff and Dr. Shultz are kid friendly, concerned for the child's comfort, and aware that procedures can create lasting memories. I plan on taking my kids to Shark Tooth for as long as im in the area

I Would give this place zero stars if possible. On the first visit they insisted on giving my son a concentrated fluoride treatment so I said ok, then they tell him he could swallow it! Afterwards I get a bill for an additional $100 because it wasn't covered by my insurance. I was never told that beforehand and got upset with them. The next visit I accidentally brought a kids face mask for myself, so I went In to ask for an adult mask. The lady was immediately rude, yelling at me like I was infected that I needed a mask to come in!!! She then told me it's been 2-years, so I should know to bring my own mask and if I want one I would need to pay $7! Seven dollars they tried to charge me for a mask! When I objected, immediately the dentist was then called to the front over this! He tells me I'm causing problems and i should see another dentist. This was after waiting months to get in. The dentist agreed to move forward only to inject my son with Novocain and nitrous oxide and then say that it would be better to refer him to a surgeon where he could be put to sleep. My son was in tears and in pain for nothing! They then proceed to tell my sons mother I was causing a scene and they will no longer accept him.

My five year old daughter just got sent away from this "children dental practice" because she a reflex when they put the numbing gel First the appointment was delayed 3 months and rescheduled because they couldn't see her they had some excuse. What do they expect from kids when we the adults have some trouble when we go to the dentist. Never going back I do not recommend this place

In the past I would have rated Shark tooth 5 stars for their work, however today when we went in to take my daughter to have a crown replaced the receptionist and dentist were extremely unprofessional and rude. My husband questioned the receptionist about the work my daughter was going to get done as she required his signature and initials for two other procedures we were never informed about. When questioned the receptionist proceeded to become agitated and proceeded to call the dentist over and inform him that my husband was being rude as he did not want to sign for some procedures (we were never informed about). The dentist proceeded to point at my husband and stated "I have warned you, you will not treat my staff this way or I will dismiss you" as he was being "rude" apparently for questioning the procedures and denying to consent to the two other additional procedures that we weren't previously informed about. Typically other doctors will explain these procedures and the reason they are necessary rather than threatening their consumers. We chose to have my daughter dismissed and will be taking her to a new dentist because I will not approve to have work done that we were not informed about nevertheless have a dentist and a staff member speak to us in such a disrespectful manner when our top priority is my child's dental health!

The owner of the practice is absolutely rude, he had no patience with my daughter. She doesn't like the suction and he told her to grow up and not waste his time because he was tired and hungry. Then walked out of the room telling her to call him when she decides to make better decisions. He also stated that I as a parent should punish my child by removing doors, taking away her food and only giving her a trash bag as clothing all because she doesn't floss every day.

I've been taking my child here for about 4 years and have no complaints. We live 22 miles away and have no problem making the drive whatsoever. The staff is friendly and welcoming! They make my child feel comfortable and confident when there, which speaks volumes about this dentistry! I highly recommend Shark Tooth Sedation to anyone especially those who have children with special needs.!!

I just left from Shark Tooth Dentistry and I could not wait to write this review! My 6 year old son had his first dentist experience at a different office and it was horrible! As a result He was so nervous to come here and so was I. But oh my goodness, I was SO HAPPY with our experience! My son did not shed one tear and he was actually happy! I was in shock! I could cry with how thrilled I am about this place. The dentist is so patient and kind and the staff is so friendly and sweet. I can't express how grateful I am we found this place

Since day one they've been absolutely perfect. The nicest people I've ever met in a dentist office! I've never had one problem with them and my daughter loves her "shark tooth place" and always gets so excited when the dentist walks in so she can show her teeth off lol I absolutely hated my dentist growing up so seeing her so excited to go makes my heart that much more happy!
