We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Shari L. Hyder DMD, MAGD graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1986 after studying at Douglass College, Rutgers University. She pursued her post-graduate training by completing a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY from 1986-1987. After working an additional year in New York, she returned to the New Jersey area where she had grown up. She joined a practice in Cinnaminson before branching out on her own in Oaklyn, NJ July 1992. She continually stays on the cutting edge of dentistry by taking both classroom and hands-on dental courses. She completed enough credits to be recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005, earning a Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. Even to the current day she remains active in the Academy of General Dentistry as a representative both on the state and national level, shaping the future of dentistry. While practicing in Oaklyn, she has been treating her neighbors and her neighbor's neighbors in towns such as Collingswood, Haddon Heights, Haddon Township, Audubon, and Haddonfield as if each person was a member of her own family. That is what makes Dr. Hyder stand out! She takes her time to make sure that her patients understand their treatment options and answer everyone's questions. She is gentle of touch and goes out of her way to make sure you are always at ease.
Patty is our chairside assistant. She keeps the doctor and the operatories running smoother. She has been in the dental field for numerous years and is an incredible addition to our staff. She is upbeat and exciting to be around and will make you feel so special. Come meet her and enjoy her joyous infectious personality!
Margie is our office manager and has been a resident of Oaklyn her entire life! She keeps the office running smoothly. She is the one everyone asks about their insurance and billing questions and seems to know the exact answer. If not...she will root out the answer for you! Any questions! She is the one to ask!
Lisa handles the front desk on Fridays and Saturdays and when Margie is away. Joining our team after being a long-term patient, she is quickly learning the tasks set upon her. Say hi! to Lisa when you enter!
Jane is our hygienist on Monday, Tuesday and Saturdays. She is another employee who was with the Oaklyn practice prior toDr. Hyders arrival! Loving the area and growing up nearby she is wired into the happenings in the area. In addition to the inside stories, you get an amazingly gorgeous clean smile! She is also terrific with children.
Dana is our Friday hygienist. She is a skilled artist in maintaining your beautiful clean smile. Dana helps with our periodontal patients and performs the scaling and root planning necessary to keep those deep dental pockets clean. In addition, Dana performs the regular cleanings that our patients love. She will keep you entertained your entire visit and remember to ask about her 'Fur-Babies'!!

The best dentist there is. I won't go anywhere else! Dr. Hyder and her staff are exellent and caring and truly care about their patients. I'm used to be very anxious about dentist visits and Doc H and her team erased all of that. They are truly the best.

Dr. Hyder has been my dentist for over 35 years. She always goes above and beyond to take care of my dental needs, including emergencies. Dr. Hyder gets back to me right away and meets me at her office the same day to take care of my dental emergency, including off hours and even on Sundays. My family members are also patients of Dr. Hyder's and experience the same type of care. I can't say enough about the staff as well. I am always greeted with a smile and they are very professional and caring. I would recommend Dr. Hyder in a heartbeat.

Dr. Hyder is an exceptional dentist. She allows plenty of time to ask questions. She listens and answers each one thoughtfully. I recently had a complete cleaning and check-up. Additionally, I have been treated on an emergency basis. Each time she has been extremely thorough. Dr. Hyder and her entire staff have always been welcoming, careful, and caring.

I was looking for a new Dentist and had been putting it off until I broke a tooth. I called Dr. Hyder's office and got an appointment that worked for me. The Dr and all the staff were GREAT. Tooth was taken care of and I had my first regular visit and cleaning today. Again, really GREAT care and Dr. Hyder is my new dentist!! Would recommend this practice to anyone with complete confidence!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Hyder for several decades now. Our extended family also go to her, and we all love her. She's a top-notch dentist, and her staff is efficient and welcoming. There were several occasions when I had emergencies, broken tooth, etc., and she made time in her busy schedule to take care of the problem.
