SOME PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: After graduating New York University College of Dentistry in 1999, Dr Dari began her career at Dentaland. She and her husband, Dr. Seth, aspired to open their own cosmetic dental practice and in 2000, bought a dental practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since then, they have opened three additional family dental offices in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Ft Pierce, Florida.
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT: Dr. Dari is a Top 1% Invisalign Diamond Plus Provider. She achieved this status within 6 months of signing up with Invisalign. This has never been achieved anywhere within the United States.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Dr Dari met her husband, Dr Seth, while attending New York University College of Dentistry. They now have two daughters: Samantha and Hailey. Dr Dari enjoys a good Pilates or Bikram yoga class on her spare time.
LOOKING FORWARD: Since having braces herself, Dr Dari understands first-hand the impact a great smile has on our self-esteem. She strives to deliver that perfect smile and loves seeing the satisfaction on her patients faces when their braces are removed.
SOME PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: After achieving my DDS, I began my career in Toronto, which is also where I was born and raised. After practicing for 5 years in Canadas brutal cold, I decided that I wanted to be a dentist in South Florida. So I moved to Miami and practiced dentistry for another 12 years.
I joined Shapiro Family Dentistry in 2019 and havent looked back. Working as a Palm Beach dentist in a multi-specialty practice gives me the opportunity to work with the latest technological advances in dentistry. Plus, I can continue to perfect my skills alongside the very best dentists in South Florida.
PROFESSIONAL GOALS: I have a strong commitment to my work, to my patients, and to the individual needs and concerns of each patient. I strive to provide exceptional dental care, to be a careful listener, and to always explain why my recommendations for dental treatments fit their individual needs. I am also committed to staying abreast with the latest techniques and state of the art technologies, and take continuing education classes regularly.

Had initially a good experience here. The dentist is great and quite skilled. Now not so much from recent experience The front desk staff was rude and would not explain charges for service. There is quite a long wait to receive any service or appointments. When you set appointments for particular services the front desk personnel up charge them to the more expensive ones and refuse to change it back. very poor customer service here I would not recommend them.

I arrived on time and was taken on time. The office was clean and the technician was very pleasant! This was my first appointment so X-ray and exam went well. Parking was plentiful. I would recommend Dr Novak at Shapiro Dentistry!

My daughter really likes her hygienist. She talks about how nice she is after her cleans and she makes my girls visits enjoyable. We are very happy with them as a whole.

Beware of this place. The dentist fired us as patients but falsified the documentation to say I cancelled care. She charged me approximately a $1,300 cancellation fee! I did not cancel care! My son had Invisalign's and was very early on in treatment when this occurred. Needless to say, his treatment wasn't completed. She also yelled at both of us. She has a God complex and you aren't allowed to participate in treatment as she will say, "you don't get to dictate care!" Patients always should be involved in their treatment and it should be a safe place to express concerns. In addition, they sent him home that day with the engagers still attached. I didn't even realize it until a month later and had to call and schedule an appointment to have them removed. When I asked for a receipt to show that this service was done to prove they left them on and could have damaged his teeth, they refused to provide documentation of the service rendered which is likely how they get away with doing this type of stuff. They don't allow for receipts to be given. If you go here, please secretly record all conversations pertaining to treatment and cost and especially record her promising metal braces if the Invisalign treatment is too difficult for a child to comply with. Record, record, record. But don't let her or her manager know. I never in a million years would have thought I would have to say this in regards to a dentist or any provider in the healthcare field. This is a first for me. The only reason I agreed to Invisalign was because she said if my son wasn't complying with the mouth pieces she would put metal braces on for no additional charge. The day she fired us as patients I had asked her to just put the metal braces on. She said no. When asked why her response, "it would be detrimental to his oral health." He's 14 and has been going to the dentist since his first tooth was visible. He only has one filling that was between two teeth. He has good oral health. She's liar and peddles Invisaligners like a used care salesmen. She will say anything to make the sale. She makes promises and doesn't deliver on them. I hope this review will spare someone else from being ripped off. Now my son still needs braces and we are short $1,300. Unethical place to get care. Go anywhere but here. Go there for dental services if you must but go anywhere else for braces as nearly all dentist charge the same( Medicaid doesn't cover the costs of braces) and you will likely get a better quality of care by someone who is trustworthy, I did not cancel care. She did then charged me for canceling treatment. Con artist. And anyone in her office who goes along with the scam is just as bad as she is. I would never work for a provider like this. Also, it's unacceptable to raise your voice at patients. Who do you think you are? Humble yourself and do your job with professionalism and integrity. I hope this review will cost you money. That will be the karma for me. Unless of course you want to make this right, in which case, I would be willing to take this review down.

The Tooth that I had extracted today should have been dealt with 5 years ago. Kept putting it off meanwhile I was going to the dentist regularly for cleaning and x-rays Etc. Found out that Shapiro does take Medicare and they are closer and distance so I made an appointment and this was my third visit and I was made very aware of everything that was going to be done which made me feel better because like most I felt very stressed ,prior to my visit.

My experience at Shapiro family Dentistry in fort pierce was amazing! Roberth and the rest of the staff is very nice and considerate. Roberth helped me understand my treatment and help set up finances for me. Dr Novak was very pleasant and caring.
