SOME PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: After graduating New York University College of Dentistry in 1999, Dr Dari began her career at Dentaland. She and her husband, Dr. Seth, aspired to open their own cosmetic dental practice and in 2000, bought a dental practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since then, they have opened three additional family dental offices in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Ft Pierce, Florida.
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT: Dr. Dari is a Top 1% Invisalign Diamond Plus Provider. She achieved this status within 6 months of signing up with Invisalign. This has never been achieved anywhere within the United States.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Dr Dari met her husband, Dr Seth, while attending New York University College of Dentistry. They now have two daughters: Samantha and Hailey. Dr Dari enjoys a good Pilates or Bikram yoga class on her spare time.
LOOKING FORWARD: Since having braces herself, Dr Dari understands first-hand the impact a great smile has on our self-esteem. She strives to deliver that perfect smile and loves seeing the satisfaction on her patients faces when their braces are removed.
SOME PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: After achieving my DDS, I began my career in Toronto, which is also where I was born and raised. After practicing for 5 years in Canadas brutal cold, I decided that I wanted to be a dentist in South Florida. So I moved to Miami and practiced dentistry for another 12 years.
I joined Shapiro Family Dentistry in 2019 and havent looked back. Working as a Palm Beach dentist in a multi-specialty practice gives me the opportunity to work with the latest technological advances in dentistry. Plus, I can continue to perfect my skills alongside the very best dentists in South Florida.
PROFESSIONAL GOALS: I have a strong commitment to my work, to my patients, and to the individual needs and concerns of each patient. I strive to provide exceptional dental care, to be a careful listener, and to always explain why my recommendations for dental treatments fit their individual needs. I am also committed to staying abreast with the latest techniques and state of the art technologies, and take continuing education classes regularly.

Me and my family have been patients at this clinic for a long time. We were respected by all professionals and especially by the reception in the past. Today the entire reception has been replaced. Our appointments are always being canceled and last minute changed. Total disrespect ! I'm very disappointed.

Horrible, I swear to God, the worse dentist I have ever been to. The staff amazing, but Dr Shapiro, I saw her twice during my whole Invisalign treatment, which I paid in full on my 1st visit. she couldn't address my concerns went today for the 3 time don't even open my mouth, she told me I should find another provider. I have all the aligners showing that my smile is more crooked than when l started.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The consultation was in-depth and the Dr offered options and insight. The images from the X-rays were state of the art. The first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. A great experience. Stop looking around, you will find everything at Shapiro Family Dentist.

I have never been less impressed by a dental practice. I went in to get established as a new patient. I have had the same dentist for over a decade but have recently moved to South Florida from another state, so I had to find someone new, unfortunately. Dr Yana was rude and condescending to me throughout my entire exam. She wouldn't listen to a thing I said regarding my history and current issues. She kept telling me I needed various treatments and procedures that my regular dentist - and others over the years - have deemed non-essential. When she asked if I knew what a bridge was, I was annoyed. But when she brought up Invisalign - when braces/aligners have NEVER been mentioned by any dentist - for the second time, I knew I was done with her and this clinic. I'll be getting a second opinion as soon as I can find a dentist in the area that I can trust as much as my old one. I won't be bullied into overpriced, unnecessary procedures or talked down to by my doctor.

I waited almost an hour to see someone! Mind you, I made an appointment. The front desk team were rude and the hygienist as well. The dentist did seem competent and was kind. Overall, this place was NOT it. There's plenty of better places in Boca, save yourself the time.
