When you come to the office of Dr. Shannon Stokes, you and your entire family can expect friendly, personalized care. We want every patient we see to have a warm, satisfying experience that makes them feel like part of a supportive, trustworthy team. To do that, we talk one-on-one with patients about the goals they have for their smiles and about any concerns they might have related to their care. Making sure that patients understand their treatment options and have all their questions answered goes a long way toward building trust and making visits more comfortable and pleasant.
Because every smile is different and has different needs, Dr. Stokes offers a range of general, cosmetic, and restorative services. We welcome smiles of all ages, and families of all sizes! No matter what kind of help you need, we always make sure to take a conservative approach to care. Instead of making big changes to your smile, we want to help you preserve it.
We promote an emphasis on general and family dentistry, which includes children's dentistry. Every patient is vulnerable to issues like tooth decay and gum disease. With regular checkups and cleanings, we can help patients remove excess bacteria and plaque from around teeth, and we can watch for any issues that might need treatment. Treating tooth decay and gum disease as they're first developing is important for enjoying good oral health and overall wellbeing!
Beyond these services, we also work with periodontists, endodontists, and oral surgeons to offer advanced care in-office without referring you to another practice. That approach makes it possible for you to get the important help you need from the team you already trust.
Our office also takes your safety seriously. Our sterilization equipment lets us follow practices that go beyond OSHA's sterilization requirements. For instance, our dental units use distilled water instead of tap water to prevent contamination. What's more, tools like digital x-rays, nitrous oxide, and dental lasers make it possible for us to offer care that's more precise and comfortable.
