Raised in Bozeman, Dr. Mark Shaneyfelt is thrilled to be practicing in southwest Montana. Dr. Shaneyfelt completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Shaneyfelt worked in molecular biology research at Montana State University where he studied the interaction of viruses with the innate immune system before moving on to Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After dental school Dr. Shaneyfelt completed a general practice residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. During his residency Dr. Shaneyfelt received advanced experience in treating dental emergencies and treating medically complex patients.
Always interested in staying current with the constant changes in modern dentistry, Dr. Shaneyfelt is a member of the Kois Learning Center in Seattle WA. The Kois Center is an evidence based teaching center that offers continuing education with the latest advances in esthetics, implants and restorative dentistry. His involvement with the center allows him to expand his knowledge and hone his skills in restorative dentistry. Dr. Shaneyfelt is passionate about the overall health of his patients and strives to provide the best possible care by explaining treatment options available to them to help them choose the best option.
