Dr. Scott Shamblott is a general dentist and the founder of Shamblott Family Dentistry. Dr. Shamblott earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, awarded with high distinction, from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Shamblott also attended the Medical College of Georgia where he studied IV sedation techniques, as well as the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he studied sleep apnea and sleep apnea treatment modalities. He also completed orthodontic training at Faculte for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education and additional orthodontic training at Six Month Smiles.
Dr. Shamblotts many certifications include a fellowship in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He also earned a Conscious Sedation Permit from the Minnesota State Board of Dentistry.
My goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone to go to the dentist, said Dr. Shamblott. Whether youre afraid of going to the dentist, have had a bad dental experience, or simply need someone who can communicate well with you about your treatment, my goal is to make Shamblott Family Dentistry a warm, inviting place for people of all ages to receive excellent dental care.
Dr. Shamblott is married to Kate, and they have one daughter, Rachel. Rachel makes frequent appearances with her dad on television, radio and video, helping her father connect and communicate with children and teens about their dental health. Dr. Shamblott makes frequent television and radio appearances and is an often-quoted expert on issues pertaining to dental health. He makes his home in Plymouth and enjoys spending time with his family when not at Shamblott Family Dentistry.
Dr. de Llano joined Shamblott Family Dentistry in 2009, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge and insight to her patients. Dr. de Llano earned her D.D.S. degree at the University of Minnesota, and has completed post-graduate courses in dental implants, root canals (endodontics), gum disease (periodontics), local anesthetics, medical emergencies and cosmetic dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the St. Paul District Dental Society, the American Association of Women Dentists, the Twin Cities Implant Study Club, and the Bloomington Dental Study Club.
Dr. de Llano wants all of her patients to leave smiling. Whenever I meet a new patient, I want them to feel completely at ease, said Dr. de Llano. I will work with them to make sure they are comfortable and understand their options fully before we begin treatment.

They make sure you are so comfortable. I have high anxiety when it comes to dentists. But everyone seems to care for you. From the receptionist desk, your hygienist, and then the the doctor. Shout out to Justin.

Would recommend Cassie for a dental cleaning any day! I was nervous after having a very painful cleaning in the past and she was very gentle yet thorough. I'm in my 30s and don't have a lot of issues with my teeth but gum sensitivity can happen sometimes, so if you need someone with the perfect skills book with her!

Dentist visits have always been a terrible experience for me, which had me avoiding the dentist for way too long. I had a great experience with these folks while having some serious work done. Yes, great. They were able to do away with my fear of dental visits, I'll be back!

I have had significant dental phobia for over 25 years and while I overcompensated with consistent and diligent flossing and brushing, I have not had my teeth "cleaned" in about 25 years. Dr. Rebecca and the staff were so comprehensive with their care it was life changing. I went in for an emergency tooth ache and am looking forward to taking better care of my dental health. So grateful!

Everything was explained dry well to me at reception areas and helped when needed. Hygienist was very thorough and explained well and very friendly making me feel comfortable. Doctor very friendly and explained what/why needed to be done without pressing me into doing. As a newer patient very impressed with your dental service!

I went here for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. I had to get a referral to a different oral surgeon, which I never got, but they did tell me I had 5 cavities. I went a month ago to have them filled, I have anxiety about dentists, and while in the chair had a panic attack. Dr. Shamblott was very unprofessional, and seemingly upset with me. He tried to force me to continue with the fillings. I told him no and left. I just saw another dentist who confirmed I only have one cavity, not 5. They mistook stains on my teeth for cavities and were happy to give me a treatment I don't need, and charge me for it. I understand mistakes happen, but it's pretty negligent to not check that kind of stuff. To boot, I was told I shouldn't have my wisdom teeth removed, as it would not heal correctly, whereas I was advised to have all 4 of them removed by Shamblott, where almost the entire procedure would be an out-of-pocket expense for me. I really recommend going somewhere else. It feels like they will over exaggerate what is actually wrong and it feels like they just want money. I've never left a review where I actually left a message for anywhere before, but I felt compelled to put this out there.

Went in because I knew my tooth was cracked, and probably needed an extraction, was an emergency appointment,after they do all the test and hurt my tooth more I'm told they can't treat it until I have payment in full for services, I have good insurance and 95% of the visit would have been covered (meaning they would have made 4 times the amount of my co-pay with out my payment) why would you cause more pain with out saying up front payment due before services, no bill me later option, please be weary of this as I'm sitting here crying trying to find help and everything is closed... had not been to the dentist in years and this was a reminder of why...
