What ever you do don't go to Shalom Dental, on East 14th Street, Brooklyn, NY. When I called to make an appointment I asked if they were a DC37 participating provider I was told yes. When I went to her Office, I was informed that they weren't. When I brought it up with Dr. Doris Shalom, she told me that she never said that. Now, if she had told me she wasn't I never would have gone to her office, and would have fund a different Dentist. I went to Dr. Doris Shalom and had a cap put on my tooth, and it just fell out. I' have caps older than the work that Dr. Shalom did, and they never fell out. I personally feel that Dr. Shalom did shoddy work on my tooth. Will never go back, nor will I ever recommend Dr. Shalom to any of my friends or coworkers. My sister had an appointment last year for a cleaning and checkup. While there Dr. Shalom told my sister that her filling was falling apart, and told my sister, "I can't fix it now. You're not in the book for it, and I'm behind schedule and cannot do it. Aside from that, her husband is a nasty and just a generally rude person. He lies and is disgusting to patients. He doesn't write appointments in the book, and lies about doing things, which he's never done. Supposedly, he sent a claim to my insurance company, but when I checked with them they said they still haven't received it. I'm surprised Dr. Shalom is married to him, but that's a whole other story. Not only that, all he cares about is money. He could care less about the patients. He was so disgusting with me the last time I was there that filed a complaint with the ADA and AMA.

Worst dental office in Brooklyn, the wait is ridiculous, they're very rude with answering questions. The Cleanliness of this facility is absolutely horrendous , I cleaned it myself before sitting. Never again horrible place !!

Amazing office wt good and late availability, Dentist is gentle and straight to the point. Been my dentist for the last 4 years. Love her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Doris Ohevshalom, D.D.S. for over 10 years. Dr. Ohevshalom is attentive, caring and patient. I highly recommend Shalom Dental.

I have been so nervous to make an appt with a new dentist, I've had bad experiences in the past and it has made me worried to try again. From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly, Patricia did my X-rays and was so personable and professional. Dr. Ohevshalom was my dentist and made me feel instantly comfortable, she has a thoughtful laid back presence that helped put me at ease. The scheduling was simple and efficient. I wish I would have found Shalom Dental years ago, I can't wait to begin my dental plan!

After many years of avoiding to go to dentist.finally went to shalom dental refferd by one of my frined. best dentist, she did two rootcanal on my molar tooth did not feel a thing. staff very frindly.recommend to all my friend.going back for sure.

If you are looking for a caring and honest dentist who is knowledgeable. Shalom dental is the place to go. I came here after a bad experience with a dentist and immediately knew I had found the right dentist to take care of all of my dental needs. She is very careful to avoid discomfort of her patients, something I have never seen in a dentist before. I have very sensitive gums and teeth. She makes certain I am numb and comfortable before every procedure. She cares. This is just something we don't see today. Yet, at Shalom caring is part of the practice. I have been a patient of Shalom dental for many years now and I know I will continue for many more years to come. They are just that great.

Let me start out by saying what nice clean office , i waited like 10-15 min , saw the Dr she very nice and listens well , gives you different option and even worked out a nice payment plan with me. i was very happy with her and i would definitely use her anytime i need a dentist.
