Here at Shady Cove Family Dentistry, Dr. Luke Murphy can comfortably help you improve your smile and maintain your health. He believes in giving everyone the confidence they want. Dr. Murphy was born and raised in Southern Oregon. He attended The University of Portland and Oregon Health & Science University. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in Dentariae Medicinae Doctoris (DMD). Dr. Murphy practices a broad scope of general dentistry with special interest in dental implants, sedation, and cosmetic dentistry.

Upon graduation from dental school Dr. Murphy returned to his home town of Eagle Point. In 2007, he purchased a practice in Shady Cove Oregon. Dr. Murphy has built a new practice building to incorporate new technologies available and to better accommodate his patients. He continues to challenge himself and keep up to date with the latest techniques and training through continuing education opportunities including dental implants, single visit crowns, sedation, and implant retained dentures. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Rebecca, and their three children. While working to meet the challenges of an ever changing and expanding field.He and his wife are also very active in their community church and AWANAS.

Dr. Taylor Ellson is a born-and-raised Oregonian and spent most of his childhood in Bend. Sticking to his roots, he graduated from Oregon State University, earning a B.S. in Biohealth Sciences. He went on to attend Oregon Health & Science University where he earned his D.M.D in Portland, Oregon. While living in Portland, he met his fianc Hannah who is a dental hygienist. He and Hannah are first generation dental providers and are excited to be living in and serving the Rogue Valley.

Dr. Ellson strives to provide quality dental care while focusing on preventative dentistry and patient education. Dr. Ellson believes in the importance of providing patients with a thorough understanding of treatment plans and options. His focus is on effective treatment planning, diagnosis, restorative and esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Ellson enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his two black labs and playing guitar. Dr. Ellson is passionate about dentistry and is grateful for the opportunity to improve oral health in the Rogue Valley.

Dr. Casey Clingan is a graduate of Midwestern University School of Dentistry and received two bachelor degrees, a B.S. in Biology from Henderson State University and a B.A. in History from the University of Arkansas. He was born and raised in the small town of Nashville, Arkansas and values the close-knit community that he now finds in southern Oregon.

Dr. Clingans approach to dentistry is to guide and educate patients so that they can make the best decisions for their oral health care. When recommending options, he explains the process in detail so that each patient gains an overall understanding of his or her dental needs. Dr. Clingan has clinical experience in diagnosis, treatment planning, preventative care, as well as esthetic and restorative dentistry.

While attending Midwestern University, Dr. Clingan was awarded the Lifelong Learner Award for consistently researching and implementing new techniques in order to provide patients with the best possible care. Dr. Clingan has a passion for learning new ways that he can meet the unique oral health care needs for all of his patients.
