Dr. Hasty is a native of Holland, Ohio and a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and the University of Toledo. Prior to joining Shadow Valley Dental Group, Dr. Hasty completed a General Practice Residency at the Medical University of Ohio. Dr Hasty takes pride in staying versed on new developments in the dental field through regular participation in elite training programs. He has completed many advanced courses, including several at the renowned Kois Center, a state-of-the-art dental training facility in Seattle Washington. He has also completed extensive Dental Implant Training Courses, and has recently received his IV Certification.
Dr. Hasty and his wife, Amanda currently live with their two daughters Brynn and Mia in Maumee, Ohio. Amanda graduated from the University of Toledo Law School in 2011. The Hastys enjoy many outdoor activities, reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Hasty is passionate about the practice of dentistry and truly takes pleasure in getting to know his patients. I have never written a review before, but I feel as though I need to warn people. I had a filling fall out twice in 2 months that was put in by this office. I went to a different office to get the filling redone for the second time, and they were in shock after taking x-rays. The new dentist said there was cavity left behind on each of my fillings done by Shadow Valley and showed me the shadows of cavity on the x-ray that was missed by Shadow Valley. They said that if I do not get the fillings redone they will eventually spread to my nerve. My family is now spending hundreds of dollars to have 3 fillings redone that were filled incorrectly by Shadow Valley. When I called to tell Shadow Valley that my filling came out for the second time, they said it was because my gums were inflamed so the filling was hard to place. I told the new dentist this and he laughed and said it has nothing to do with that and that they were trying to cover themselves- he said the way Shadow Valley filled the cavity was not secure for the location of the cavity and explained how it should have been done. I know another patient of this office who has had a bad experience with a dental crown. I strongly recommend finding another dentist

Looking for a Great Dentist? Dr. Hasty has corrected the work of two prior marginal dentists for me. That is what a Great Dentist is able to do! I find the staff to be very caring and helpful too!

I've always had difficulty with not being able to be numbed when working on lower teeth. Dr. Hasty did an excellent job in greatly reducing the discomfort when recently doing crown prep. I've never been a comfortable as I was yesterday during my appointment. Greatly appreciated.
