Being an Atlanta native, Dr. Robert Shackelford has been practicing dentistry in north Georgia since 1984. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University in 1979 and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1984. In 2002 he moved his dental office from Alpharetta to his current location in Johns Creek, allowing him a more spacious environment and the ability to add new equipment such as the Waterlase MD and others so as to offer his patients the most state of the art treatment options available today.
Dr. Shackelford continues to improve his craft by taking an average of 70 units of continuing education annually. This includes training at the Dawson Center For the Advancement of Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, and other accredited institutions.

Jill Panetta has been working for Dr. Shackelford since 1996 as the office manager. She is always there to greet you with a smile when you walk into the office. She has two successful daughters; Jennifer & Deanna whom she is very proud of. Jill enjoys boating during the summer months with her husband and she also has a love for her two dogs and cat.
Carrie McPherson started working for Dr. Shackelford in 2017 as a dental assistant and now is our hygienist. She earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene at Lanier Technical College. She always has a warm welcoming smile and provides our patients with individualized care. Carrie enjoys spending her free time outdoors and with her family.
Jennifer Roberson has been working for Dr. Shackelford since 2019 as a dental assistant. Jennifer has had 20+ years of experience as a dental assistant. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and camping.
