Sexton Dental Clinic operates in a state-of-the-art facility. Our clinic is designed and constructed to the highest industry standards with the latest technology and progressive design all to make your visit safe, comfortable and affordable.
Our waiting rooms are spacious and comfortable with staff members readily available to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. We have a new patient flow system, which was designed with you in mind. When you enter the clinic, you are given a numbered ticket based on the purpose for your visit. You are then called to a registration desk via an overhead speaker as well as by a display on the large television screens at either end of the lobby.This eliminates confusion and makes it simple for patients and staff to keep track of where they are supposed to be and when they will be seen. There are televisions in all of our waiting rooms and telephones available, as well as vending machines for cold drinks, coffee and snacks.
Most dentists have to ship their lab work to national laboratories to complete the manufacturing of dentures and other dental appliances. Here at Sexton Dental Clinic, we have one of the most advanced onsite laboratories in the industry, designed to make the manufacturing process fluid and efficient. Each of our highly skilled technicians gives individual attention and care to every case that leaves the lab, so you can count on the craftsmanship and quality of your new denture.
Having an x-ray taken at most clinics is a difficult process which involves waiting for your x-ray to develop to make sure the quality is good enough for the doctor to make a diagnosis. Usually once your wait is over, you may have to retake the x-ray and wait some more.At Sexton Dental Clinic, we use advanced digital x-ray equipment that gives us instant results on your x-ray.If the x-ray needs to be retaken, it is done immediately, with no waiting and the results are automatically added to your digital chart.This way, no matter where you go in the clinic, or which doctor you see, your chart with your x-rays is already waiting for you in the operatory.
For your convenience, we designed a large outdoor area with a shaded lawn where you can walk your pets or just enjoy the lovely South Carolina weather. Please be aware that this is the only authorized area for pets on the premises. No animals are permitted inside the building except for licensed service animals. Anyone who brings a service animal must also bring documentation showing proof of the service animals certification, must keep the service animal on a leash and with them at all times. We are located centrally in historic Florence, South Carolina convenient to shopping, restaurants and hotels.

Refuses to pull a tooth that was causing horrible pain. Referred me to places that did not accept my insurance. The doctor told me to come back if no one else would take me and after going back three times he turned me away. "I will not pull her tooth because it doesn't need to be pulled". Those were the words of the doctor. Mind you my tooth has a piece broken off from the core and is stuck between the tooth it broke off from and the one in front of it. Eating and drinking causes severe pain. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent Excellent......It all started from service from Sharron at the front desk she was so helpful with all the documents I had sent over and the ex rays, thank you so much!! So don't read the old reviews that Dr is not there anymore !!! Dr Montgomery who is now the new doctor at this facility he is so fantastic, I was so nervous and scared I was getting my tooth extracted he was so kind and also so personable that it made the experience pleasant and put my mind at ease, he made sure that it was completely numb and you were feeling comfortable before he did anything, I did not feel it at all I was amazed wow , he is a excellent Dr . It truly went so well I was so shocked , thank you to all the girls in the back thank you thank you , you all were so fantastic I can't say thank you enough you all were kind and patient and told me everything I needed to know before and after the procedure and this made me feel so good and safe !! excellent staff and Dr thank you so much !!! The service and what is advertised does not exist!!!!!! They keep saying staffing issues. A same day service ce has already taken two days.

This place is horrible! My dentures are too big don't fit they gag me!!! The dentist told me this is normal. So I got in touch with the local news and I will get my story out there! This is crazy I can't even close my mouth definitely can't eat! After the news gets out then I'm calling an attorney

I went to the Sexton Florence location first, then was advised to come here to see the oral surgeon. Everyone was very nice and polite...BUT I wish the surgeon did as I asked and didn't go off of what he THOUGHT was the issue!! I was in severe pain with one of my teeth in the back. I EXPLAINED and showed him which tooth it was. He decided to pull my top right wisdom tooth, stating that's were he believed the pain was coming from.$250 later I'm still I pain with the same tooth that I came in for!!!! I'm beyond pissed... wasted money and now I have to go through the same freaking procedure AGAIN. Listen to your customers, WE KNOW WHERE THE PAIN IS COMING FROM, DON'T ASSUME YOU KNOW!!!!

Wonderful staff, kind and knowledgeable, they were very professional and the dentist Dr. Montgomery was the BEST dentist I've seen. I have panic attacks and he told me what to do and the extractions were painless. I can't thank them enough. Also the price was around $ 1,100 for upper denture and lower partial, which isn't bad . Don't listen to the naysayers they treat patients very well . Also, the technician who did the impressions was super nice, and explained everything thoroughly.

Sexton dental clinic clean me out for $1,100 dentists don't fit they were partials they pulled four teeth when I only wanted two down bottom at the most pulled because that's all it needed but they were trying to sell more dentures after telling me they were making a bridge from the bottom teeth liars would not spend a dime at this place. Smart enough people don't be treated like animals that's what they do to you there and the doctor who is bias

Superb experience at a value price. Sharon is office manager and is professional and patient. Peyton was the tech who helped me and was nothing short of terrific. Dr Montgomery is that rare dentist/dental surgeon who takes the time to explain the procedure in detail and then did a superb job. Yes, you must be patient but you get a great value for exercising patience. Highly recommended.

This place needs to be shut down. The place is filthy and unclean, the cleaning I received was rushed and the hygienist was very rough. The office lady told me she was gonna send over my X-rays to my other dentist office and never did. The front desk staff isn't very friendly and they don't even have a dentist there to do fillings.

Went there for a toothache with abscess (slightly swollen) the Dentist comes thru Basically orders services for me. So at that point they want you to pay so you get to the desk before you see whats Going on. He ordered Drain tubes (its just swollen or red a tiny bit nothing to drain) wants to pull a extra tooth, They write in the price, then Someone told the lady to fill it out different so it went from 75.00 X 2 Scratched out to 150.00 X 2 everything got doubled for some reason. So I couldnt pay for the whole 640 bill, so now we are asking "what if we take off one tooth" but the doctors gone off to other patients or "In surgery" . SO I ASK FOR ANTIBIOTICS, I PAYED THE EXAM AND FEE 115.00 , AND NEVER GOT ANY MEDICINE . THE NICE LADY DANIELLE TRIED TO GET THE DOCTOR TO GIVE ME SOME ANTIBIOTICS ALL AFTERNOON, I CALLED BACK 3 TIMES, WHAT KINDA DOCTOR SENDS YOU OFF KNOWING YOU HAVE A INFECTION AND DOESNT PRESCRIBE ANYTHING. A DANGEROUS ONE. This Method of seeing patients needs to be changed to where the price is given right while the doctor is there so youll be able to "Finish the appointment safely" in case you dont have the funds for the Complete services the dentist suggests. then he can at least send you off with medicine, and know the final result. My guy just left us hanging. and me with a infection thats getting progressively worse. TRYING TO SEE TOO MANY PATIENTS CREATES EXPONETIALLY HIGHER CHANCE FOR ERROR.

Scheduled an 'appointment' which isn't really one. 6 other people had the same appointment time. Asked how long wait anticipated and was told 2 hours in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Walked out.

Rude staff and unprofessional. They wouldn't see me because I had my 2 well behaved children w me who are 11 and 13. They told me it's against there policy to see me w them. This place is a joke n needs to be shut down.

Horrible phone experience on our midway of our Conversation she put me on hold without telling me nothing twice left me talking to myself!!! After that she was totally rude about making an appointment with me.I told her I work and if you could work with me on a good schedule she replied to me very rude said well you only have two choices and that's it take it or leave it smh!!!I was baffled I then reply you know what I'll leave you guys aren't worth spending my money on wow never in my life I had service like that

I went to Sexton for a consultation on a tooth that I cracked and wanted to know what would be best for the tooth. The dentist that I worked with was Dr.Smith and she was very nice and very helpful. The front desk are very nice and very friendly when you walk into the door. Even though I had to wait for a while; it was well worth it. I definitely would go back for any of my dental needs

I went and got a tooth pulled a couple weeks ago. I had an enjoyable experience and the only part that hurt was the needle to numb me. I thought everything else was great including the price and staff. The only thing I wish they had done was put a stitch in where they took out a molar. My tooth bled for a long time afterwords. I was still actively bleeding 2 days later.

Not happy with the work they do. Dentures are not at all fitting. I don't like there work at all. Try some place else.
