Sexton Dental Clinic operates in a state-of-the-art facility. Our clinic is designed and constructed to the highest industry standards with the latest technology and progressive design all to make your visit safe, comfortable and affordable.
Our waiting rooms are spacious and comfortable with staff members readily available to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. We have a new patient flow system, which was designed with you in mind. When you enter the clinic, you are given a numbered ticket based on the purpose for your visit. You are then called to a registration desk via an overhead speaker as well as by a display on the large television screens at either end of the lobby.This eliminates confusion and makes it simple for patients and staff to keep track of where they are supposed to be and when they will be seen. There are televisions in all of our waiting rooms and telephones available, as well as vending machines for cold drinks, coffee and snacks.
Most dentists have to ship their lab work to national laboratories to complete the manufacturing of dentures and other dental appliances. Here at Sexton Dental Clinic, we have one of the most advanced onsite laboratories in the industry, designed to make the manufacturing process fluid and efficient. Each of our highly skilled technicians gives individual attention and care to every case that leaves the lab, so you can count on the craftsmanship and quality of your new denture.
Having an x-ray taken at most clinics is a difficult process which involves waiting for your x-ray to develop to make sure the quality is good enough for the doctor to make a diagnosis. Usually once your wait is over, you may have to retake the x-ray and wait some more.At Sexton Dental Clinic, we use advanced digital x-ray equipment that gives us instant results on your x-ray.If the x-ray needs to be retaken, it is done immediately, with no waiting and the results are automatically added to your digital chart.This way, no matter where you go in the clinic, or which doctor you see, your chart with your x-rays is already waiting for you in the operatory.
For your convenience, we designed a large outdoor area with a shaded lawn where you can walk your pets or just enjoy the lovely South Carolina weather. Please be aware that this is the only authorized area for pets on the premises. No animals are permitted inside the building except for licensed service animals. Anyone who brings a service animal must also bring documentation showing proof of the service animals certification, must keep the service animal on a leash and with them at all times. We are located centrally in historic Florence, South Carolina convenient to shopping, restaurants and hotels.

Been visiting Sexton for over 25 years. Remember the old building, and reading post cards from all around the world on the waiting room wall. While the prices are second to none, their same day policy on dentures a real time and embarrassment saver,. I must admit at times one is made to feel like a cow being pushed thru a chute for loading. Don't expect any personal courtesies. When you're processing such a large volume of people. On a daily bases, I suppose individual patient appreciation isn't important. These things said, if your objective is to get your teeth worked on , and your willing to over look formalities, Sexton is a great place to go especially if in a pinch or low on funds.

My experience was A+++. They have been doing this a long time and they know how to take care of large numbers of people in a extremely efficient process. Every person I came into contact was courteous and professional. I drove from Florida and am very pleased. Price, service and a quality product! The dentist was top notch and very personable.

Always a great experience in Florence! I have despised going to the dentist my whole life, but I look forward to my visits with Christina - she's the sweetest and most caring hygienist I've ever had! And Dr. Terry is so efficient. Staff all so friendly. Thanks guys!

Went and had top teeth pulled for partial denture and bottom wisdom teeth taken out everything was done for a very good price ! I'm very happy with the work I felt no pain and would definitely recommend! Thank you Dr clark

I am so grateful for this place!! I went to the Myrtle beach office first and had the worst experience of my life! However I made an appointment with the office in Florence and I am so glad I didn't just give up! They treated me with respect and kindness and did an amazing job on my dentures! I couldn't even close my mouth around the dentures I got at the Myrtle office but the Florence office remade them and did an amazing job! I love it! Marie was the dental assistant that took care of me through it all and she's amazing she deserves employee of the year!!!

Drove 2hrs and waited almost 2 hrs post my appt time to be RUDELY told by Dr Terry that he could not help me. No recommendations or referrals. Unprofessional customer service.

Wife had to have some work done .. extraction , partial ,then dentures... You need to realize ppl that you are a number here and that this is not the same as your regular dentist ... They expedite things and it can be an all day process especially depending on what you have done ... For the prices .. we can't complain .. but yeah expect to be treated like cattle here... You are a number and nothing more... They don't wanna know you... They don't care bout your life's story ... There are nice ppl here but with the volume of patients that come from hundreds of even thousands of mi away.... They want you in and out , taken care of asap ... The only true gripe I have is trying to get a live person to either talk to or even call back to confirm wife's appt on Thurs, fri and Monday with nothing and we got here on what we thought was her appt time but calling us back after she checked in to confirm her appt time.... ... But again... So far not a nightmare but again realize ... If you expect 5 star service with a smile ...no pun intended.... You're kidding yourself and setting yourself up for a bad time...

I went they did no impressions of my mouth before surgery to remove teeth. Dentures do not fit the teeth are crooked . No where in my mouth do my teeth touch. Go somewhere else.

They are deceptive. They did a shody job on a repair. They have a sign that says they open until 5pm. We arrived at 430pm, THEY WERE CLOSED. no notice. No notification of why they closed early. No one answered the phone. No message to indicate why we drove all the way there to find an empty parking lot.

STAY AWAY> I WENT IN FOR A TOOTH< THEY TOLD ME 640.00 , I TOLD THEM I ONLY HAD 500, THEY MADE ME PAY 115 AND SENT ME AWAY WITH NO MEDICATION OR TREATMENT 'KNOWING I HAD A ABCESS INFECTION' (THEY SAID THEY COULDNT FIND THE DOCTOR HE WAS IN SURGERY ) YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Went here for a cleaning and check up. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The hygienist was amazing and Dr. Terry was great as well. I was in and out in no time.

Not my story but my husband's. He baught his dentures from your office when he was in his 20s. He is 84 and still has the same dentures.

I was in so much after pain I thought he fractured my jaw! He was extremely rough and rude. He got upset because while administering the novocaine I flinched because he hit another nerve in the back of my mouth which later caused pain to that tooth! I will never go to the dentist again even if it was free!!!

After getting a price of $8,800 from my dentist for implants ( 2 teeth) I decided to get another opinion so I called Sexton Clinic. Their price for the same exact procedure came to about $6,800. I'm happy I checked it out I was treated very well

I was told good and bad things about the clinic. So I didn't really know what to expect but I was very satisfied with my care. Yes it was a 5 hour drive and I was there from 5:30 am to 2:00pm but during this time I had xrays impressions made I was put to sleep had 19 teeth pulled and then sat with gauze in my mouth about 2 hours. The dentures were then placed in my mouth which was still pretty numb so it felt really strange like plastic that didn't belong in my mouth I had a little trouble learning to drink with out drooling lol but all in all I am doing good so far this is day 2 after my procedure and I am still really sore but I'm very pleased so far as for the staff they were nothing but nice to me dentist explained thoroughly and was a very nice person as was the nurses

I'd give this location a negative ten according to my experience. I arrived a bit before 7am to have an extraction done and I should have stayed in bed. Initially the assistants were pleasant and everything seemed to be going good. They got me in the back about 2 hours later and that's where it went downhill. It took Dr.Jordan(if he's even qualified to hold such a title) forever to come in the room. He applied the numbing meds,waited about 10-15 minutes and came back in to do the extraction. I expected to feel some pushing and pulling on the tooth but what I didn't expect was PAIN. He stopped the initial extraction gave me two or three more shots( on top of the three he'd already given me.) Needless to say that didn't work either as I could still feel PAIN when he attempted to extract the tooth. Threw a gauze in my mouth, said that it wasn't anything else that he could do and sent me out the door. Minus $115 dollars and now with a tooth hurting even more after his pulling on the tooth. The tooth was already chipped and he chipped it even more before giving up and sending me out the door. He said I would have to go to an oral surgeon and have the tooth cut out. He wouldn't even come in the room and address me directly when I asked to speak back with him. He just kept relaying messages through the assistants.Well I ended up going to Emergency Dental in West Columbia and Dr.Joseph Solinger administered the numbing meds properly and extracted the tooth in 5minutes without any oral surgery. Sexton Dental treated me very unprofessional and my experience was unpleasant to say the least.

Do not come here!!!!!! Dr. Robert Scott is rude and seems prejudicist. He don't look at his patients, he doesn't communicate with his patients, he talks at you not to you, he doesn't seem to care for people of color or from another state. Especially FLORIDA! Find any reason to send you out the door. Dr Benjamin came in late never put his coffee down the immediately started sending people out and refusing to treat with a smile . He love to look at his assistance body shape a was very flirtatious with them.
