The best dentist EVER - Dr. Evan and his staff are so inclusive and compassionate. My son has a disability and struggles immensely with going to the doctor/dentist. Dr. Evan and his staff work so hard to make him comfortable and keep his experience positive. I am so thankful for them and couldn't imagine taking him anywhere else.

Professional and very down to earth. Environment is very welcoming for children and they use insurance (didn't have that money machine vibe like some local pediatric dentists have). One of my children is extremely shy and they were made to feel very comfortable and fearless. Dentist and the hygienist, Jenni, were very knowledgeable and careful in reading the X-rays and examining my child's teeth. Very good experience.

My kids were patients there for 3/4 cleaning. Then all of a sudden a schedule issue happened. & they said no longer take my insurance. Come to find out they didn't take new patients with my insurance, so I told them we weren't new. They said its been 8 months. I said yes because you guys cancelled an appointment. So now are new. And I've checked back every time my daughter needs a cleaning still not taking new patients 3 years later. Crazy. And this is the only local dentist that takes my insurance, when I found them, had them & they made an error now my children have been suffering every since. Maybe the dentist will see this?! So be ware one day you patient next day your booted and can't come back as a new patient due to them cancelling.

We drive 1.5 hours to see Dr Evan because he's the best in the area. Other dentists wanted to do unnecessary work on my daughter's baby teeth but he said "let's wait and see" and sure enough, those teeth came out and no work needed. He really cares about his patients too. On my daughter's last cleaning he came in and kept complimenting her on how great of an improvement she made on keeping her teeth clean since her last visit.

I never care to complain or leave a bad review. Unfortunately after today I feel compelled too! My children are heartbroken! Lying in front of them sure brings the Mother bear out! The receptionist has been making a lot of mistakes lately due to stress! That was my assumption and hope! After 7 years of being apart of the Dr. Seuss family. It's heartbreaking to say our goodbyes! My youngest cut his first tooth there and has never seen anyone else! Unfortunately I understand now.. That they must not of cared as much as we did for them! My children listened to one of our favorite Doctors lie to us about a miscommunication in scheduling with the very always rude tenure receptionist! He stated he was right behind us when she scheduled us for my youngest 6 month check up and rescheduling my oldest cleaning for that following Friday (13 mins late had to reschedule, but late is late I understand that!!) Also this could have been properly resolve by saying the truth at least from Dr. Evan. I mean say it was a honest mistake and just maybe blame my mask for why the miscommunication happened! Even as she was laughing and enjoyed getting away with her attitude again! I expect Something beside a huge lie from Dr. Evan's!! He lied with red puffy eyes that rarely looked up (for once)as he said three horrible lies to us! Last one was all his. Sad part is he was caught in the biggest lie on his own lie by my twelve year old. Who caught on too!As taught! He waited and told me politely outside that Dr. Evan's lied to me about being behind us listening. My son said "hey Mom remember he went to eat lunch after we joked in the hallway after his brother cleaning. He never left his office or walked down the hallway in that matter! He sat right down to eat. I started thinking about that unprofessional day we had before with his scheduling receptionist the lady facing her back to us! Probably a good reason. She never puts on a smile in the 7 years we been there!! She was rude and emotionally cold as she didn't seemed to be appease that the days she stated couldn't work for us! Funny thing is he was right!!!! I thought on it further. I realized he was right about Dr. Evan's. He did just have lunch brought to him by one of his employees who has been in the same old school vans the past two times we have been there. I remember hearing him and Jenny(the dental hygienist we usually get.) joking and laughing over their lunch, loudly from all the way down the hall to his small, cluttered desk in his office. When we exited two doors down from his office. I always notice his bright red hair behind or around us! So red it can't help but grab my attention! Love it!!Also he asked me why did it look like Dr. Evan's had been crying? I truly was paying more attention to my youngest and rescheduling the appointment for the next week after my oldest child's field trip, he had been looking forward to for months! Which I know I repeatedly told her we couldn't do this Friday. Anyways she said I was scheduled for the 25th and she called! Well my phone records show she never called me or left message. She swears I answered my phone to confirm. Who she call? I wanted to overlook her attitude and lying to me! She knew she made a mistake! Unfortunately lying in front of my oldest son is not okay especially since he caught it on his own! I am not sure Dr. Evan's really cared for us?His face with the puffy red eyes and not able to look up into my eyes or direction as he made up a lies for his employee. He seemed to have no concern we were leaving. We been his loyal patients for 7 years .He quickly dismissed us from his practice. We no longer trust this practice that they will stand up to have a standard of quality care for his patients!! Not just for his employees but for his children who trust, know and love him! We have moved from this practice today! Also I have raised my children lying is not taking or learning from your accountable actions! DREVANS WOULD YOU LIE LIKE THIS IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN?? Hopefully not!!

My oldest son has been here twice but went with my husband both times. Today was my first time taking him and my 1 year old and I had an awesome experience. Staff is very friendly and they were all great with both of my kids. My husband has had nothing but good experiences here as well when he has gone. I would recommend to anyone with kids.

Great patient and friendly staff. Super kid friendly I was surprised that they got my son to let them look in his mouth because he can be quite stubborn but they were patient and convinced him

I have kids who go to this office. I have to say I'm not one to write reviews however I feel this is a way of showing my appreciation for the staffs kindness. After a couple of rescheduled appointments by the office due to the dr being out I became quite frustrated with them. I showed up for the rescheduled appointment and was late getting there. Long story short we were not seen that day and I became very frustrated. Most of my aggression was due to personal home problems of being with both kids on my own while my husband was overseas. Long story short my family was given another opportunity to continue my children's treatment and since then have had no issues. I would like to thank Dr Hershkowitz and the office manager Laura for their kindness and understanding. The office is exactly what you would want to experience when it comes to your children's dental provider.

My kids have been going here for years. Dr. Evan is the best. He is funny and great at what he does. I've never met an employee there I didn't like. The decorations are great and they've always taken good care of my kids. I wish they served adults as well. Then I might actually go to the dentist myself!

I just moved to the area with my 2 young boys and a friend from the area suggested Seven Seas Dentistry. She said it is very "professional" and it is. Too professional! After our first visit my eldest son asked me, "Dad, dont they smile here in NY?" Seven Seas is indeed very professional but missing any kind of friendliness or warmth. That is fine for me as an adult, but for children I prefer a more welcoming environment. But we continued with Seven Seas as my son needed to have a tooth pulled. We arrived for the appointment 15 minutes late. We got stuck on the bridge coming over as there was an accident coming off the bridge onto 9W. The nurse said she couldnt accept us and we had to go home. Well my son needs his tooth pulled, so I asked when can the Doctor see him. She didnt know; the doctor was going on vacation next week. My son looked at me and said, "I told you dad. She's arrogant." Anyway, our orthodontist - who is professional and still has a heart - will help us find another dentist. I can not recommend Seven Seas for children. For adults it works but for kids, stay away.
