Dr. Richard Papp graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001.In 2003, Dr. Papp opened his own practice inFairfax, Virginia, which he developed and ran until 2015 when his family returned to their native state of Georgia to be closer to their parents and siblings.
Dr. Papp is familiar with many aspects of general dentistry, with a focus on cosmetic and family dentistry.In addition, Dr. Papp has completed certification with the United States Dental Institute toward the application of conventional orthodontics and advanced training with the popular Invisalign programs. He is certified in the use of oral conscious sedation techniques and has received advanced training in dental implant restoration.
Dr. Papp is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology(AAOMR) andthe Doctors of Conscious Sedation (DOCS). He is licensed to practice dentistry in both Virginia and Georgia.
Dr. Papp enjoys spending time with his family and advocates for dental outreach and children's literacy.His hobbies include racquetball, reading, classical music performance, and attending local sporting events.
A. I wanted to get into the medical field and after exploring all my options, dentistry seemed to have the best balance of professional satisfaction and life/work balance that I wanted for myself and my family.
A. The school is counted as one of the top 10 dental schools annually and provides a very comprehensive training program for aspiring general dentists. The city itself is full of history and very close to the Shenandoah mountains, DC, and the Virginia Beach/North Carolina Outer Banks areas. There is always something to see or do. It is also the smallest city I have ever lived in as an adult, so the lack of major traffic was a pleasant surprise.
A. I was exploring the idea of going into medicine and just by chance ended up working as a temporary dental assistant. I appreciated the autonomy dentistry affords compared to other healthcare fields and the ability to make an immediate positive change to a person's life was very compelling.

After my former dentist died unexpectedly, I went to this practice for a cleaning and xrays two months ago.. I was informed I needed a crown and quoted a price that seemed high. I questioned the amount that I would have to pay after reviewing the amounts they said insurance would pay and was told it was what the computer said I would owe. I finally requested them to ask for an estimate of coverage. The amount my insurance company said I would owe was more than $250 less than what I was quoted. Communication has been very poor regarding this issue. I just cancelled my next cleaning appointment. I will find another dentist who listens to my concerns. Unfortunately, the office thinks my only concern was the insurance issue. It was the way I was talked to by Erica.

Everyone is courteous and professional. They have all equipment and 3 D scans, needed for implants. My last dentist didn't have . DR Papp can do implants. Certification at advance implants . Not to mention all his other training, qualifications and certifications. The last dentist I had, only had one day a month, for a Doctor with that can do implants.

I had my first visit today. I had left my prior dental group. This experience could not have been more wonderful.. Everyone in the practice was friendly and kind. You are made to feel more like family than a client. I believe I have found my permanent dental group.. Thanks for all that you do!! I highly recommend Seven Hills Dentistry, especially if you have any anxiety over dental visits. You won't regret it.

This dentist was the best in my 60 years of life.The staff are friendly and funny.The treatment was off the hook!Almost painless,When the dentist saw me move he stopped and said"are you ok"?I said I can fill it.He nummed me up and the rest was a breeze.I highly recommend this office!

I enjoyed finding this dental practice. All of them are courteous, pleasant and warm. They are quick but efficient! They won't waste your time, as everyone was assisting. They walked me thru on the treatment plan and the financials. They offered options to help meet the treatment cost. Staff do as they promise. Several times they took the trouble to call me to put in the soonest schedule as i wished. Finally , for the first time here in GA, i found a dental practice i am so comfortable with. The facilities are up to date in dental technology and is clean, bright and cozy.

My family and I have spent a lot of money at seven hills Denistry in the past. Recently I took my daughter back there . She was in Severe tooth pain last week. We called them because they have worked on her teeth before. They were aware that we didn't have dental insurance just like in the past. They got her in 3 days later. Took an X-ray an gave us a almost $1400 treatment plan to pull that tooth. They said she needed a bone graft. I called and emailed them telling them that I could only afford the pulling of the tooth not the extra. I was told someone would get back to me. I heard nothing. So today 4 days later I call them. I again let them know I could not afford anything else just the pulling of the tooth. I was told that was the treatment plan and if I couldn't go by it then I'd have to go somewhere else. Made no since. They have removed a tooth of hers without a bone graft before. The only thing that makes since to me is that they are out for money. A child in pain can stay in pain because I don't have $1400. Every one knows is doesn't cost $1400 to remove a tooth. It's usually between $300 and $400. So they want to charge me almost $1000 for a bone graft. If I had it I would. If I had time I'd save for it I would but she's in pain. So they said they would refer me somewhere else. 6 hours later I'm still waiting for the email with the referral. So now I have to go somewhere else and pay for her to be re-examined after I already paid them for nothing. I can see this dentistry is just out for money. They are not concerned with peoples wellbeing. So if you are not loaded with money then go somewhere else. Now if I had all the money in the world I'd never go back. They showed what kind of dentistry they are. That's fine they can live with that.
